In newer versions of the game, this mod will pause the game at the start of each day and pop up several blank pop-ups.

In theory, everything should work. These are just event files that shouldn't be affected by regular game updates unless there's a change in script syntax.

in case this important to how events are scripted, I'm using cybernetics to unhivemind the molded pops, I mean, i'm not sure what else to do since i can't purge them.

ALSO worlds are automatically making robots with the infected trait, which is pretty silly.

is it even possible to take back a world from them, I keep getting events spawning troops but there's no way it seems for me to stop it or anything.

oh also, if you're exomycosis, then you will add blockers you can't remove from the synaptic lathe.

I took some of the graphics files from new frontiers and used the mushroom graphics and it 'works' for me now, so I guess there really is something up with the files.

does anyone have graphics issues with this? it looks like a lot of the texture files got corrupted, i've redownloaded this a few times but almost all of the graphics related to this are borked in some way (planet surface looks weird, planet preview has a giant horizontal line in it, etc) this appears in the files outside the game so I don't know what to say other than they could be messed up and need to be redeployed.

I found one mistake in this mod, "infected" pop trait is removeable by genetic engineering, making it extremly easy to fight against. Certainly should be blocked from removing.

Hey the mod is awesome, gives a great feeling of a crisis that isn't just an invasion. However wanted to let you know that the infection seems to still rise after i literally blow up a planet, which is a little ridiculous. Only at 0.1 points, but since i blew up the planet i can't take any other actions to lower it

Hmm trigger for exploring the origin site seems a bit broken. Seems like a bad thing to keep happening for such a destructive event. Could probably resolve it by having a very expensive alternate way to resolve infections, but otherwise cant recommend adding to a game

you dont get an option to explore the mycelium world, it doesnt recognise you've built the buildings and just stops doing anything but infecting more pops and ruining your worlds after you research the exofungus

How do you "Explore" the mycelium world? Just had a game completely ruined because of the stupid infection... there should be some kill switch hard coded in the mod. Or maybe a tracker to show where the player has to fix the issue.

Shame infesting worlds removes planetary features. Makes relic worlds, for example, completely pointless. You have to rely entirely on planetary modifiers for planet specialization.

Mod needs to be taken down and fixed. 90% of it does not work properly. Build infection hospitals? does'nt register the progress stays at 0/3. Situation log for quarantine and the genocide option are unselectable with some bs saying soldiers are greater than or equal to 2

I made a lot of fixes. Including fixed a bug due to which the constructed infectious hospitals were not registered in the event log.

So, is the infestation event still included in Real Space - New Frontiers ? If it is still in Real Space - New Frontiers , does Real Space - the Infestation cause a new separate event or this mod overrides the one in New Frontiers?

The situation requres me to 1) research the fungus home planet, 2) complete a project and 3) build three infection hospitals, but does not register the construction of said hospitals of the infected planet and stays at 0/3.

@Annatar: It showed up at the Situation Log, but seems it did nothing else.

Only thing I can do is to research. Building the hospital did not increase the progress period, and I cant' build it at my capital as its not infected with at least a population.

I am not even sure if the AI took over the mycelium world, since I can only find one, and it never get flagged as explored.

And since I already at this point eradicated the last of the disease, I have yet to encounter any other situation log regarding another one showing up at another of my system. (The situation log still persist)

@Vatheron It will only slow down the spread. Also, do not forget about the planetary solution Quarantine. To completely stop the disease, you need to study the threat and completely eradicate the pathogen.
