OMG!!!!! Pugs. Thank you. Fun Fact: for dogs that have "horrible malformed goblin skulls," they're one of the longest living breeds of dogs. They're a few thousand years old and their genetics make them far healthier than "typical" dogs, that won't live nearly as long as a well-bread pug. Real wolves are lucky to make it 5 years. German shepards will die way before pugs, but no one's out to ban breeding them. Thank you for the pugs, I'll do my best to keep the little meatballs safe.

I don't think the dogs are capable of breeding with eachother? Maybe mine are just slow but it's been two years now and no puppies

Looks amazing! Love me some pugs but... I can't bring myself to involve my favorite pet in such a harsh and cruel world such as dwarf fortress as they're so helpless

If you feel like it, German Shepherds would be great. But whether you do or not, ty for this mod, it's perfect as is!

Great mod. Do the dogs weigh differently depending on size?

A suggestion: Schnauzers. Literally just dwarven dogs, impressive facial hair and all.

Suggestion:
Unbreakable will for corgi and shiba.
0.8 x Shiba/Rott/husky/"dog" movement-speed for corgi.

And since it's dwarf fortress, and if we hate the very notion of FPS and we want seconds per frame, make husky/corgi/shiba to shed hair.

Fun Fact:
The pug is one of the oldest dog breeds known to man, originating in ancient China. They were bred as pets for emperors, making them perhaps the best-fitting choice for your dwarven royalty. Also they have horrible malformed goblin skulls and we need to stop breeding the poor things.

The corgi meanwhile was originally bred as a herding dog. They're so small and tube-shaped because they it helped them slip around the legs of larger animals, and nip at the hooves of any that started to stray off.

I assume they're all breed-able with one another?

I would have added for the Shiba Inu. However, I'm not an inhumane monster who would unleash the abomination that is Chihuahas upon Armok's creation. I was left at an impasse.
