And there's your bridge, holding up a long river crossing for an old lumber branch line, near the mouth of a Great Lakes river. :-) https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2905176420

@REV0: Like an idiot, I didn't realise that the gauge wasn't the problem, the WIRES were.

Thank you very, VERY much for that... Storm City is very heavily rail-based and having truss bridges I don't have to custom-build is a lifesaver. Than you so much again for a wonderful holiday present!

@ArchTeryx

You cost me a day of work :)

Update: European Wire Support
-----
Use Adaptive Networks to switch wires to European standard, then use Network Skins 2 / Railway 2 to customize catenary style.

Oh this is excellent. The original version of the truss bridge is a beautiful asset and having the two-lane variant makes it that much more useful as well!

It may not be prototypical but the European collection is lacking a really good truss bridge like this one. But rather then try to make different versions of all the American assets, I had a possible idea.

Make a small "adapter" (gauge switch) so the Euro rail set could connect with the American rail set. The Euro real look looks very modern, and a lot of the American rail looks industrial and gritty. It'd be *awesome* if I could, say, connect a branch line of American rail with a Euro-rail main line smoothly. Then I could use everything from these little masterpieces to monsters like Hell's Gate and Hyperion, and run American trains on the branch lines. THAT is pretty prototypical - branch lines with different gauges exists all over the world. :-)

What do you think of that idea?
