I noticed something with the loot moon when I had a liopleurodon buff on I had no noticeable change in loot idk if it was just cause I got unlucky but I was getting the usual junk. In virtually every other case where I had a loot moon I got at least one very op item. If my hypothesis is correct the liopleurodon loot buff is somehow interfering with the loot moon loot buff in some way or I could just be unlucky but I did go through 2 caves (swamp and snow cave on the island) and raptor claus so chances are I should have got atleast one good item.

for some reason this mod makes the slingshot engram unlearnable along and as a result all other ranged weapons and ammo

Bro, I had one of the configs which was the quad exp at -1, 0, & 1 and still kept getting the quad xp moon.

Oh also, is there something that makes the mod move all the dinos affected in the blood moon to the centre of the map? we are on the island and we have a base at 50 50 cliff of the redwoods.

There's something weird that just happened. After the bloodmoon has reset all the dinos with alpha varients spawned in air and caused a shi ton of lag in the server. I think they got teleported in one area and tried to get back to normal. I then proceeded to attack them in air and made them fall. But initially it made it hard to ride my argen due to I think lag. Ill see if it happens again next time. I dont know if this was because I added a new mod called Spawn Blocker.

@Gangster85 - Bug: Corpses of dinos that have alpha variants get resurrected at the start of a Bloodmoon. I found this bug by accident while harvesting a megalodon with The Hunted installed... You can just imagine my initial shock and the aftermath that followed. :divemask:

I'm trying to set the moon chance for a server I run and it seems like the lowest I can set a specific moon is 20%, although I can set it higher. I've tried -1, I've tried 0, I've tried 1, and I've tried 10. They all boot with a 20% chance. I can turn the chance up on a specific moon though, say 30 or 40%. The overall chance I'm able to adjust to whatever. I'm assuming that the numbers should equal 100, or it can cause issues. My questions are, is this the case? For example, if I set one moon at 80%, and the rest at 20%, does it divide the chance to the total of 160%, or will it just potentially cause 2 moons at once, or how does that work. And two, is there a way to actually adjust them lower than 20% or disable one of them? If this is a bug, is there a plan to fix it?

I am super excited to see you say that this mod is coming to ASA. Hopefully you're the one to make it for ASA, as your BetterPVE mod has been my favorite mod to date. I love the added challenge the moon phases added to my ASE servers! I cannot wait!

And there is no constant information about what is happening during the game. It would be better if a logo with information about the activation of an event was lit up

The mod is good, but not finished. It cannot be fine-tuned. For example, I can't configure the event to be turned on, for example, once in three days.

"Some Carnivores can now damage up to stone structures", is dinos damaging metal structure intentional then? Would love to have a config that make them unable to destroy metal or tek structures.

Very very fun mod. Have you ever considered adding other moons? I think my cluster have all asked at one time or another if this mod has a "Lover's Moon" where breed timers, baby raising, egg incubation all get a big boost.

Setting moon chance to -1 does NOT disable them. Just got a quadruple XP moon when it's set to -1 in the ini.

Here's another concerning bug that made me remove this mod from my cluster:

On The Island, Blood Moons cause the old 50,50 overspawn bug. We tested this for 2 real life months to be sure.

When the Blood Moon occurs, obviously it promotes all dinos with an alpha variant to alpha for the night. The problem is, once all those raptors, rexes and carnos are promoted to alpha, the game now thinks there's not enough of the regular (non-alpha) kind and starts spawning them en masse. We then start getting about 100+ of them on the beach at 50,50 AS WELL AS a literal death ball of rexes, carnos and raptors in the SKY at 50,50. This death ball is also often 50-100 total of raptor/carno/rex in alpha and regular variant.
We disabled the mod on Weds, July 12th and it is now Sunday July 16 (2023) and the overspawns haven't happened a single time since.

FYI - if this has been reported i am sorry in advanced. I am running a cluster and we've notice on transfer during a moon, the buff stays and you get the benefits or not so much bloodmoon pain and suffering. i do restart the servers at the same time but there is a slight time difference and so you can manage to get several moon buffs and keep them if you remember to transfer just before next nightfall. (i do run the server with a bunch of smart nerdy and cheese people tho so they do like to find these glitches for me) .. anyway just wanted to let you know about that, unsure if you can some how stop the buff on transfers or this is just so everyone else knows it is a thing. either way great mod can't wait for the other things to be added ^^

I downloaded this mod on a whim but it actually really adds some needed refreshing quality of life to single player. I truly fear Blood Moons lol. Any plans to maybe have the moon's appearance change with these events? ie. a red moon for Blood Moon, big and orange for harvest moon, etc

I have a problem with this mod. I cannot download it at all - steam has the download percentage on 0% and when I try to stop the download - nothing happens. I cannot close steam, I can barely restart my own pc whenever I try to download this mod

how do i configure my ini to prevent some creatures to damaging metal? cause ive seen the recent syntac video taming karkinos with this mod and they were able to damage metal. so... i only want some creatures to be able to damage stone. not metal.

@Lizard Wizard (warp) thanks, but i'm on singleplayer. i had to get the bloodmoon chance to -1 so that never happens again, also, the crash occurs when the creatures turn back to normal, so i'ts more like a side effect.

If your using the commands on a server you'll need to add admincheat to the beginning of the code for it to work and if you get the bug with the blood moon not going away use the stopmoon command it will get rid of it

Me and a friend ran into the problem of the bloodmoon being stuck on a character. The only way we fixed it was by removing the mod, having them go into game with the mod still removed, then add the mod back in. It fixed them. Everything else besides that failed.

i'm currently having the issue with bloodmoons that, every time the bloodmon tries to go out, the game crashes. i tried to solve the problem uninstalling the mod and moving it in the load order but to no avail.

(for some reason, in the crash report, lost island has something to do with it, but i haven't even touched that map in a long time)
