Heyo, I have encountered a bug wherein the Dwarfwood when made into blocks becomes a "Petrified Block" which for some reason DFHack is completely not recognizing, nor are any of my stockpiles. Whenever using it to make wooden blocks it completely clutters the Carpenter Workshop. I see the mod hasn't been updated in years, just putting it out there for anyone downloading

have you considered making cave trees that have fruits on them?
Curious 22 Jun, 2024 @ 4:52am
Fascinating, so it's the sap in particular, that's pretty cool.
Deon ☣ 22 Jun, 2024 @ 4:31am
@Curiious No, because the wood doesn't contain sap, especially when processed.
Deon ☣ 22 Jun, 2024 @ 4:31am
@mgla That other mod doesn't modify trees, it adds plants you can grow that resemble trees. So it's compatible, but there will be no plants/seeds for the new trees added by this mod.
mgla 13 Feb, 2024 @ 4:02am
Would this be compatible with other mods modifying trees, such as this tree farming mod? https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3044707015&searchtext=tree

Havn't tried out the mod yet, but would Bleeding Birch beds cause people who use them blisters and bleeding?

@GlitterLich
Cannot reproduce. please send screenshots. Nothing that I can see in my code that would make that happen.
Wyntr Stardust  [author] 28 Mar, 2023 @ 2:40pm
@GlitterLich
Interesting, I'll check it out. in the meantime, consider already generated areas like that just a fluke of geology. ^_^
GLITTERLICH 15 Jan, 2023 @ 9:19pm
The dwarfwood seems to generate a lot in the sea, for some reason.
Wyntr Stardust  [author] 1 Jan, 2023 @ 4:14pm
@SilverBullet
Check the updated mod description.
I've hopefully made it more clear and understandable for everyone.
SilverBullet 31 Dec, 2022 @ 6:41am
what use of blood oak? i cant understand meaning of '(may induce sickness in the future)'. does swinging this blood oaken weapon against the enemy cause sickness?
Stogie 30 Dec, 2022 @ 11:34am
No worries! Things are working well!
Wyntr Stardust  [author] 30 Dec, 2022 @ 6:22am
Cool, so no worries then?
Stogie 30 Dec, 2022 @ 1:25am
Turns out it was giving me an error from a mod I didn't even have installed on that world. Not entirely sure how, but it seems harmless at least!
Wyntr Stardust  [author] 28 Dec, 2022 @ 2:41pm
Hmm...I just checked the files, and ran an error check in-game, and while i found and fixed a minor error with blood oaks, i found no errors with tanglewood. update to Fantastic Trees 1.4 and try without your other mods and see if you still get the error. then try to deduce which mod conflicts, if any.
Wyntr Stardust  [author] 28 Dec, 2022 @ 2:32pm
ill look into it. but without knowing what all mods you are using there is only so much i can do. i cant guarantee compatibility with all mods, though i did take some measures to limit mod conflicts as much as possible.
Stogie 27 Dec, 2022 @ 9:06pm
Still getting some Tanglewood errors. May be compounding with other wood-related mods, because the worlds seem to crash whenever they get to tree-generating phase, with this message in the log:

Tile page token not recognized: TREE_TANGLEWOOD
Wyntr Stardust  [author] 24 Dec, 2022 @ 5:18pm
@Flynt hmmm, that was a bug in a previous version, that should be fixed. try creating a new world with the newest update of this mod.
Flynt 24 Dec, 2022 @ 1:19pm
Is it just me, or is there an issue with Tanglewood not actually having a graphic? I see lots all over the place, but there doesn't seem to be any visuals to it.
Stogie 24 Dec, 2022 @ 11:40am
@Digglebert
I suggested something similar to that over in the "discussions" page. Called it "Miner's Noose." I think there's real merit to invasive tree roots!
BloodW0lf 22 Dec, 2022 @ 9:48pm
love the mod, hope to see lots of stuff, like I do think a trr attacking your ppl and growing overy our fort could be supper cool
Digglebert 22 Dec, 2022 @ 8:10pm
Would love to see a tree that aggressively digs into your fortress with a root system and such
Wyntr Stardust  [author] 22 Dec, 2022 @ 7:24pm
@Stogie update the mod and see if you still get errors on a fresh world. if you do, use pastebin or something and send me the errorlog so i can bugfix further. however, im hoping i know what the problem is and it might already be fixed.
Wyntr Stardust  [author] 22 Dec, 2022 @ 7:14pm
@Stogie my apologies, ill do bugtesting in the morning.
@CharmingCat that more of a hint at somthing i have planned but havent coded yet.
Stogie 21 Dec, 2022 @ 2:04pm
The bramblewood errors seem to be causing crashes when I try to load my saves.
Stogie 20 Dec, 2022 @ 9:39pm
Just a note, was finding bramblewood errors in my log. Seems the game wasn't recognising its tile?
CharmingCat 20 Dec, 2022 @ 4:26pm
Can you clarify what you mean by "carnivorous"? Does... does the tree eat people?
Wyntr Stardust  [author] 20 Dec, 2022 @ 1:02pm
Sorry, screenshots added now. Enjoy!
Psyentific 20 Dec, 2022 @ 7:01am
>makes cool new trees
>doesnt post screencaps of cool new trees
?????
Wyntr Stardust  [author] 20 Dec, 2022 @ 4:04am
No they actually generate in the world.
Thrice 20 Dec, 2022 @ 3:48am
Are these just textures for other modders to use, are they now spawning in the world? What biomes would I find Ironwood in? Ill test it out, but these things might be useful in the description :)
Experiments 19 Dec, 2022 @ 11:39pm
Aw yess, trees. The growths system will probably look great with new textures.
Wyntr Stardust  [author] 19 Dec, 2022 @ 8:32pm
Screenshots will be coming sometime soon, probably with the next update(which should be soon).
Custom textures are still WIP, so currently they use recolored vanilla assets.
MaGicBush 19 Dec, 2022 @ 8:07pm
Yep we need screenshots.
ryno 19 Dec, 2022 @ 6:51pm
what do they look like?
