loses me a lot of fps when using high fps support mod not worth

I haven't had the FPS issues with this mod, and this fixed Terraria's biggest issue for me

I've been finding that when terraria does a hard freeze with this mod isntalled, it keeps hold of the cursor and I cannot click over to other windows or alt-tab out. I have to log in to a tty and force-kill it via command line.

When I open the in-game Steam overlay (SHIFT+TAB), the mouse disappears when I return back to the game. I found that I can fix it by disabling and enabling the mod again but that is only for the main menu since I cannot disable/enable a mod in game. Please let me know if this can be fixed.

this mod makes game VERY laggy

Hey so i don't know if it's just my setup, but this mod caused my game to tank from 50 FPS consistently with frame skip on, to 20FPS with frameskip on. Disabling mods one at a time, I have isolated it to being this mod as the culprit, so, idk what is going on there. Great idea, but my hardware evidentally hates it ^^;;

I was messing around with the inside colors to go pitch black for the cursor and for some reason it doesn't let me make it pitch black. I don't like the lighter shade in middle can you please fix this?

This is a thing? never had this issue on linux even on 15 and low fps.

@dmsw actually i've used the mod for myself without High FPS Support and it drops about 10 - 20 fps for me so my games sticks to 40 - 50 fps and it also makes my cursor huge, so definitely not his pcs fault

@Kinger bro what? Terraria is locked at 60fps? The only way this could possibly be an issue is if you used High FPS Support and this mod in conjunction, which doesn’t make sense as they would conflict and cause issues. Otherwise, Terraria is literally locked at 60fps and will not go above it no matter what your frame counter says. The mod worked perfectly fine for me and until i started using high fps support, and even to this day this mod runs perfectly fine with no performance impact. The likely issue is your PC in general and almost in no part due to this mod

This mod should not be used anymore as it can eat up to 50-60FPS. My playthrough was plagued by awful FPS and massive spikes to the point where I couldn't fight Plantera as it would drop from 80FPS all the way down to 15 during the fight. I manually disabled mods one by one until I stumbled across this one where I disabled it and I went from an average of 80fps at idle to around 140-150. Now during boss fights with high projecticles I don't lag anywhere near as much and can fight plantera above 100FPS. I substituted this mod with High Support FPS instead. Nothing against the dev for this mod but its simply broken and hasnt been fixed.

don't use the "high fps support" mod, it's so ass and it breaks the game a TON

This mod caused me to drop more than 20 frames, if there are any dropped frames, you can turn it off and try it

it lowers my fps a lot now that i did some on/off testing
enabled: 48~ fps. disabled: 60 fps

this mod fixes the ONE ISSUE I HAVE FOUND NO ANSWERS TO, the laggy/floaty mouse issue, but one weird downside is that it makes my cursor huge
