Hey, i have OPC thrusters on subgrids and they automatically change to stock effect, their color and alpha are just getting in stock configuration so i can't do anything with them, is there a way around? i can live with that honestly, still a gorgeous mod!

Yes! You just need to add the subtypes via config file, then put that in a mod and load it in the same world. There’s already multiple pack supported so far.

..ah ok but any thruster Mod need to be supporting this mod!? .. is there a way to just force the effects on any moded Thruster via Config or somthing? regardles if it looks perfect?

can u mybe mak it liek [VSI] Recolorable Thrusters so u can just select the effects u want to have directly in game on every thruster block via menu and not have to male extra moded thruster blocks?

Hello! I managed to change the default effect type by creating my own mod. But it doesn't apply to the engines of the ships spawned by MES. There is no option to change the effect in their menu at all. They don't use vanilla engines, but "NPC Hydrogen Thruster" etc.

Please let me know how to add the effect for them. I didn't find any instructions on this in Discord.

Hello! Enjoying this a whole lot but having a small issue where other players are not correctly seeing the effect and color I have set for thrusters and they are still just orange for the hydrogen thrusters. Is this something I am doing wrong, or just a limitation of the mod? Thank you for sharing!

Thanks! Can’t say I’ve ever heard of this being an issue before, I don’t believe anything in this mod edits the thrust override… I’ll do some testing.

The visual effects are absolutely stunning!

However, when I load the mod, my thrusters immediately go into thrust override, 17 kN.
Does it perhaps require an update?

Hi, you have to make your mod! Please take the Mod_Manager.xml file, remove all the XML elements you don't need, and put it in the data folder in your mod then add your mod to the world.

Hello! How do I change the default particle type? I tried changing it in the Mod_Manager.xml file in the save folder, but it gets overwritten to Vanilla when loading a world.

Hello, the SkyBurner effect is supposed to provide a trail while you move through the sky!

We got to, ion, hydrogen, and protect effects incoming!
Best of all we now have an API you can use to set default effects and colors, as well as build your own effects!

Is there a way to force the mod not to interact with certain engines? This is one of the best mods I've seen recently, but when I have it in a save file with the Aryx-Lynxon drive system mods, they all lose their custom thruster effect

I love the maneuvering thruster effect, especially when I am docking my ships with another.

just here to say my own expirience with compatybility with other mods. basicaly every other big thruster mod will have the tab in the block settings but when you apply any of them(not including vanilla) the thruster sotops producing any effect and will just flicker(somtimes with agressive brighness) every 2-3 seconds and the thrust of the thruster is ofcourse uneffected.

@heliosanchez A Couple of things: I'll go ahead and use this as an educational moment for everyone.
Firstly, Modded Thrusters, by default, the script only supports Vanilla (Including DLC) and OPC thrusters. I am working with @xXShadowNinjaXx now on an update to add support for Humanoids and Arynx Thrusters. This is because particle effects have to be custom-made for each thruster. However, if other modded thrusters use the same naming convention as vanilla thrusters, these effects will appear; depending on the model being used, they may not look great...
Regarding your issues around AI and On/Off, this script only checks if the block is On and never assigns or changes values. Furthermore, this script has no interaction with the AI block. Please look into the other mods you are using; as always, I'm happy to help.
Lastly, I am pushing a patch tonight related to a crash in the GUI menu.

It so nice, fx looks so cool but, there's a lot of problems coming with it. Some items are deleted from inventory when moved from a place to another.
Hydrogen Plus seems to randomly toggle thrusters on/off and disturbing autopilot (autopilot doesn't work when enabling hydrogen plus).
HP seems also generate lots of kinf of "roll back" but only on client side.
Otherwise its a beautifull job !

I'm experiencing some issues with non original thrusters. If it's an industrial thruster, i get no flame. Any one have face this before ?

The recoloring, works for both mods in question. The custom particle effects is not available on those thrusters at this time.
