My only issue with this mod is the fact that despite being made for Combat Evolved it's completely destroyed everything that made OG Halo, "Halo"
- Marine Armor "Gone" replaced with H3, H2 armor sets
- Weapons "Gone" replaced with H3, H2, H4 weapon sets
- Vehicle & weapon modifications look like they're from Red Faction, great game just doesn't belong in the Halo universe.
We welcome mod makers who wish to test WIP mods and people from all time-zones
By the way SOl I think you're really hot
The only real complaints are that a few encounters are extremely painful to get through owing to checkpoints, but this was a issue with the base game as well, and a particular encounter with a weird little flood thing at the game that is poorly communicated and generally bewildering in a bad way, as opposed to the good that the rest of the mod's more unusual aspects are.
Things are plainly recognizable for the most part, but just... off in a honestly fascinating fashion that makes me very curious as to what lies around each corner.
None of this is a inherent negative, mind, if anything it is a standout feature that gives a extremely unique identity. No other mod has gotten close to establishing this almost dreamlike atmosphere.
