This is a pretty cool game man, has some pretty cool potential with more maps and all... Me and my friend had an idea though, take it or leave it, as goes... Maybe a sort of general unit? one per side/team, that could be fairly susceptible to attacks (or not susceptible, not sure how this will work balance-wise), but provides a small bonus, or buff (like +1) to attacks and defenses in a small radius of 1-2 squares... IDK, just throwing out possible suggestions, me and my friend are going to try playing around with it, see if we can come up with a balanced figure. Anyways, great game :)

Played this a friend today, I find that the base game itself is terrific and very tactical at heart. It's simple yet intuitive, however, I can see there is definitely infinite room for more variety. Such ideas my friend and I came up with are additional terrain bonuses (such as high ground gets a defensive advantage), maybe a reinforcement system to gain additional troops if they're lost, and a general for both sides and if your general dies you gain -1 attack. Otherwise, I find this game to be excellent and look forward to any additional updates if there are any.

Dear Kimiko,

First off, I would like to thank you for noticing and appreciating my creation. Long before I found Table Top Simulator I was writing down designs for my own board game. The only problem is that I'm an only child and my parents are either working or usually sleeping from exhaustion so I didn't have anyone to test the ideas with. The all of a sudden BAM, this jewel of a game shows up and allows me to create my own designs for an affordable price and have other people play it and find problems. Iv'e always wanted to make this into a a physicial copy , but I have no idea where I would have my 3D models or the board created and so it has just stayed on this workshop. Maybe one day this could be on the shelves of stores!

Thanks for the Info Bramp0wnd! A card based system is being designed right now, but I want to make it as not random as possible to add more strategy into play. I was also going to change the dice modifiers a bit to keep all the classes semi similar in terms of that gameplay. Iv'e also been working on a bridge battle map, and also a siege map. Really nice game! I enjoyed playing it with my friend. It took us 1 hour and 25 minutes to finish (to give you an idea)

We did have to watch the rules a lot because it isn't always too easy to remember all the classes.

Still great job and I hope you'll make some new maps with maybe some cards involved? That would finish it to perfection :)

New Models have been created, next update will include custom trees and a dice tower to roll the dice withought hitting your own men :D

One of the major problems I had with my Models was that they are off-centered. These newer ones will be completely centered, and have their own custom collision box instead of a square bounding box allowing more realistic collision. Also, I did plan on creating a sort of tower as you say to drop dice in, that would then send it to a small bowl so that the player could see it. Thanks again for the suggestion, as I thought the dice tower would be a bad idea! :3

Oh I almost forgot something.

If you are indeed remaking the models might I suggest changeing the trees and also makeing some models smaller?

Sometimes when snapping models to grids they will clip a nearby one when being dropped down. (Especially cavalry because of how long their model is.)

Making the trees smaller would fix a similar issue but the issue with trees also effects dice. You could maybe add in a small dice tower?

Dear Barnaby,

Thank you for the suggestion. Many people have also given the same complaint and now that the core of the game is finished I can go ahead and complete the graphics side of the game. I'n the next soon to come update, all the models will be re-created (Yet still, in the same design style) as well as the textures. Weapons of each unit will also be toned differently to be easier to identify and help the gameplay process. Thanks again for your contribution to helping the game!

A review/suggestion.

First of all I think the gameplay at this moment is goddamn perfect. Its simple yet hard to master. The game depends on building formations and also makes me think of how old medieval armys used to fight.

Only suggestion/negative thing I can say at the moment is that the black archer piece appears to glitch out. (It glows like silver and casts some glitchy looking lighting effects on the edges.)

And the only other thing is that for some of the people I played with (I played about 3 sessions twice just observeing two others.) they could not tell the difference between some pieces at times.

Sometimes they would mistake spearmen for infantry or archers for spearmen. Although they eventually got used to it.

Just got done playing a game with MrPork, and I can tell anyone wondering: This is fan-tas-tic. The rules are really well balanced and the author is very open to suggestions. Anyone who likes strategy games, Warhammer 40K, or chess will most likely love this.
