In Ark: Survival Evolved, when playing on a non-dedicated server, only the host player can level up their tamed dinosaurs. This is a known limitation of non-dedicated servers in Ark. Dedicated servers, or single-player modes, allow all players to level up their creatures.
Host's Control:
In a non-dedicated session, the host player essentially controls the server environment. This includes things like difficulty settings, creature levels, and other game parameters.
Why Only the Host Can Level Up Tamed Dinos:
Non-dedicated servers are not designed to handle individual player-specific settings for things like dino levels. The server (hosted by the host player) manages these aspects of the game.
If all players need to level up their dinos, the best solution is to switch to a dedicated server or play in single-player mode.
I have like 2 of 3 of them 24/7 around my base because i'm playing on x5 spawn rates
Thanks
Not sure what I can do for you mate, it's hard to fix if I can't replicate the problem, sorry mate :(
Could you tell me what taming method the Carcha has ?
We are trying the regular method but it doesnt really work...
we kinda get like a pop up window once we fed him some baby rexs, but we cant really interact with him.
ARK Loading Quote:
"You don't have to run faster than the dinos, only faster than your friends!"
Well that will not work for you...Your friends will get eaten, you will also get eaten, so better just keep running... fast....
No idea why your normal is creating an Elite Egg... The vanilla Creatures have not been edited at all, the Elite Alphas are all new creatures, not even child of vanilla... Will keep looking at why that is happening. Cheers
(and my normal argentavis create a alpha argentavis again ^^)
@Yoichi - It was intended however I am happy to reduce the damage and increase the torpor to try make it balanced (hope it won't upset too many people) - see how it goes
@The barbarian - I have removed all Tamed Inventory except for Saddles from most creatures, see how that goes with Cryopod and let me know.
@Yoichi - I have made a slight adjustment to Giga, I still have some adjustment room left. Trying to keep everyone happy is proving to be impossible:)
All the above were done in last update, please let me know how it has gone, cheers
