Even if I choose elite as the preferred species, I see the Spartan model.
As for requiring anti cheat to be disabled, that's all MCC mods regardless of campaign or multiplayer. It's a requirement 343 set with EasyAnticheat on MCC so no way around that either. But of course it would've been great if this could've been an official feature on MCC to some extent.
Also if you want to go back to playing other Halo 3 mods or unmodded Halo 3 campaign, you will need to restore the original DLL because this modded DLL will not work with anything else.
Its literally a campaign only feature
Regardless, the effort to keep it up-to-date with the latest version of MCC is appreciated nonetheless, really.
I literally just downloaded the mod for the first time a few minutes ago, it works fine (although can't say anything about co-op)
Typically of course host is chief, player 2 is the arbiter, but when I play with my friend it just seems to always set whoever's the elite as chief and whoever's the spartan as arbiter. It randomly set us correctly once and then it crashed and it swapped us back when we continued the save (with the same host)
Also - and I have no idea how or why this is - but whenever we use this mod there are way more marines. Like, when we went through the room after blowing up the first scarab instead of there being like 5 guys in there, there were about 40 lol I dunno how or if this mod is related to that (though it was the only mod we had) and I'm not really complaining or anything because it was pretty awesome going through missions with an army of marines but I thought I'd mention it lol
The correct file name (as I'm writing this) is "Halo 3 DLL Required For Mod V8"
NOT "Halo 3 Multiplayer Characters In Campaign Mod V7 Update 3"
