And i dont know if its only me but HUD kina broke and the text is hard to read in the journal
Maybe re-instate where players can actually find the controls? Because I see a few comments that don't know what the controls are either.
Additionally, a MAJOR complaint.
The last level of Dead Center is next to impossible because, for whatever reason, you decided to make there be endless hordes for no reason. So you're constantly surrounded by neverending waves of zombies to the point that you can't get any gas in the car whatsoever PLUS tanks spawn DURING the hordes. I have no idea why you decided to make it that way, but it needs to be changed immediately because it is ridiculous.
I tried to set this up then open 'map c1m1 alone' to try it out, but I was unable to do anything else other than spectating the bots. Restarting the campaign didn't work either, they just went on through the map while I was still stuck on spectate mode. Even pressing 5-7 doesn't work bc the pop up that was supposed to tell me to select a character didn't appear for me, and the cutscene didn't show up.
I wasn't sure what I was missing here, I'm pretty dumb in setting this up lol. But I'd appreciate the help on starting this up properly! :D
yet when I go and read the description fully
I read out things like "if you kill the special infected in cool ways"
this mod does NOT make you truly alone, special infected will still spawn if the official description claims so
Console command is crosshair 1 to put the crosshair back.
To avoid stuff like that you should use the safe quit command:
giveup
It ensures that anything changed reverts back to the prior values. Prior as in the ones that were present at launch.
Hallucinations are already present for the l4d2 cast. I hope they work properly for all of you.
As for the links they are also printed to the console phone for easy copying.
Is only natural that after playing around with it so much, one becomes used to it. Like the finale thing which after a few campaigns in a single session get's tiring. With each update there was a surprise and excitement for every new "encounter".
I know nothing about modding or even about the engine, but I figure it wasn't simple. I can't think of any suggestion to make.
Expect maybe one... A tailored mod pack. Completely centered around this mod. Oh, hallucinations would be really cool too.
I really look towards your next update!

hell

What the hell are you talking about? Stop calling this number, asshole.
You have finally exposed my most horrible shame. I always wanted the UI to scale with each individual's resolution and aspect ratio.
I tried for years . No hyperbole. At times I still make attempts to find a way to do this but I always find that there is no way for my script to know what resolution the player is playing at. This means no way to know how to format the UI, size or shape.
My two options then were to make a new UI for each resolution L4D2 offers and have the player select it every time they load in, or...
....just make one for 1080p 16:9 and hope no one found out...
And now you found my greatest lament.
And that knowledge, van, dies with you.
;-;
Thank you. I do not take it lightly.
He has escaped through the veil. Let him rest.
The ones who still weep are null pointers. They must be removed.
Console commands control those effects, so to reverse them just enter the commands:
Fov_desired [number]
Crosshair 1
For fov you can also readjust it in settings.

This might just be an issue on my end, but I seemed to fix it after downloading VSLib.
