Thank you so much. Tested the new patch and it is working perfectly for me.

Since my last post, I found a way that should render the last one invisible and restore Bug Branch compatibility. Though oddly, bug branch itself does not want to work with my install.

The one you left in doesn't show for me, so it must come from an expansion I don't have. Maybe that could point you in the right direction?

Thankee good sir!
BeCause  [author] 16 Jun @ 10:10pm
Allright, I've patched it to function, but I had to leave one premade in to make it not crash. I'll have to figure out the cause, but I'd rather have it 99% functional than 100% broken.
BeCause  [author] 16 Jun @ 8:41pm
Yup, that was my attempt to get it to work with the bugbranch changes, but I think I'll have to remove that support for now.

Just an FYI. this mod causes a crash when trying to start stellaris 4.0.20. Game gets to the end of the loading bar, then the crash report comes up. Can't get to the main menu at all.

Game functions ok with no mods whatsoever; crashes with just this mod.

Oof! Sorry for the headache. I've not had any such issue using the most recent version of both mods and many others too, at the moment.
BeCause  [author] 15 Jun @ 11:53pm
Welp, both bug branch and my potential fix has made my copy of stellaris not runnable for now...
eqN 15 Jun @ 7:42pm
No luck unfortunately. I hard deleted the mod and resubbed/reinstalled to be sure. I super appreciate you willing to include this compatibility! Hopefully it is an easy fix.

Looks like they changed the file names on their prescripted stuff. Hopefully this update works for you. I'm happy to make this work with other mods if people bring it to my attention, I just don't play those mods myself.
BeCause  [author] 15 Jun @ 5:22pm
Allright, I'll check out the files.
eqN 15 Jun @ 8:30am
Below. I put it at the bottom but they still seem to show up for some reason.
BeCause  [author] 14 Jun @ 4:33pm
Is my mod above or below bug branch in load order?
eqN 14 Jun @ 3:49am
Just a heads up, from what I can tell this is not fully working with the current version of Bug Branch. It does disable the vanilla pre-scripted countries but I'm still getting the ones from Bug Branch.

Updated for 4.0.*
prismfuzz 30 Sep, 2024 @ 9:33pm
god bless for bug branch compatibility
BeCause  [author] 8 May, 2024 @ 8:30pm
Fixed.

Sorry for the absence, I've been dealing with a lot of depressing stuff. The new release sounds really fun, so I'm looking at getting back into it.

Could you update this
Royal Raven 13 Sep, 2023 @ 6:29pm
Yeah there seems to be two new ones. The Human also show up again, suggesting PDX messed around with file structure again.

Thank you for the heads up. It will probably take me longer to update my mods since I changed to a non windows OS recently.

I saw this in the patch notes for 3.9.1 coming out next week:
-Added the Federated Theian Preservers prescripted empire to the Lithoid DLC
Royal Raven 6 Sep, 2023 @ 7:19pm
Thanks for this. It is the only mod of its kind that is fully working.
BeCause  [author] 4 May, 2023 @ 2:43pm
Hey Q, I was able to make this work with the Bug Branch mod. You will want to make sure this is below Bug Branch.
N 4 May, 2023 @ 3:21am
@BeCause, can you add one for 101_bugged_prescripted_countries.txt? (Ethics & Civics: Bug Branch)
BeCause  [author] 4 Mar, 2023 @ 8:47pm
If the mod adds empires to the empire selection screen through modifying the original game files, it may be possible for this mod to override that depending on the load order of the mods.

If the mod adds them through adding new files, I don't know of any way this mod could prevent that.

For the most part, it should prevent the prescripted from spawning during the start of the game, except for any empires specifically scripted to be created elsewhere in the files/origins/mods. The upcoming game version looks like it will have a new empire specifically tied to origins that will force spawn it.
mhariz1993 4 Mar, 2023 @ 6:51pm
Does this also include the ones added by mods ?

And does this removes them from spawning in game ?
BeCause  [author] 2 Mar, 2023 @ 5:09pm
After some checking, I found out that there were two versions of these empires in the files. One of these was for people who don't have the Humanoids DLC. I have updated the mod, and based on my testing, this should theoretically fix your issue.
LUNK 28 Feb, 2023 @ 11:58pm
they were on the select screen
BeCause  [author] 28 Feb, 2023 @ 8:47pm
Just to clarify, were they on the select empire screen or was it that they spawned in game and were not in the select empire screen?
LUNK 28 Feb, 2023 @ 3:56pm
started the game with only this mod enable, all prescript empires EXCEPT commonwealth of man and UNE were removed
