For those wanting to update the mod to work on B42, do the following:

1. Go to your SteamLibrary folder
2. Go to "steamapps"
3. Go to "workshop"
4. Go to "content"
5. Go to "108600." This is the Project Zomboid folder containing all installed mods.
6. Look for the ID of the mod (in this case, "2908614026".)
7. Go to "mods" > "DropRoll".
8. Create two new folders: "42" and "common". "common" is to be left completely empty, but needed.
9. Copy the "media", "mod.info", and "poster" files and paste them into the "42" folder.
10. Enjoy!

Fair warning, not every mod is guaranteed to work with this method. Some mods will require files that are either only present in B42 or have changed significantly for B42. However, most mods should work just fine.

I can't guarantee that this method will work forever, as eventually something will be changed in future updates that make it unusable. Enjoy it while you can!

@ Silver Star how do I diagnose problems like that you just described for other mods?

Mod makes a check every time the player right clicks. Annoying as hell, but there also isn't a single other mod out there that does anything similar.

Hey just wanted to tell you that the mod produced a bunch of errors and made my game lag. In the server log it seemed like the game tried to check if the player is on fire all the time and then stated that dropping and rolling was invalid because the player isn't on fire. Any idea how to fix this?

Any idea what mods conflict with this one? Ive tried different load orders and still get the same issue - It works the first time then errors out on subsequent tries.

yeah i think ill have this mod installed the next time i use the "Incendiary Buckshot" mod

work well for firefighter character or any medical knowledge character build, but it's will be very useful if there's keybind for fast SDnR and maybe even automatically perform this action on some specific occupation (firefighter for example)

I would also recommend using a fire damage nerf mod with this, as you WILL NOT have time to even select the option to SDR before you die and turn into charcoal.

I know this because it just happened.. Last time i use a Molotov.

My first playthrough involved me accidentally starting a fire with a microwave, running away, surviving for 8 days, and then being set on fire by a burning zombie from the fire that I started and apparently was still going. My first character would have lived with this mod. Sad.

I was burnt everywhere after a piperbomb didnt make it over a short fence and stop drop n roll saved my ass from burning to death...
I still had to deal with severe burns inc a neck wound but i'm still alive <3

People actually die from fire often enough this mod is needed?

+1 for the immersion, but I gotta say that after 1,800 hours of gameplay I've only been burned once by any form of fire.

I remember being taught "Stop! Drop! And Roll!" as a child. I was wondering why survivors in this game just let their burning wrist-band become a raging t-shirt-inferno. With this mod, I can be 2% more reckless, and it is appreciated.

After I caught fire, I tumbled and the fire did not go out, and I was slowly burned to death.
