Oh yeah...

The update broke everything

Great plane! But is there a way to make it last longer? I feel like the engine is overheating far too quickly, is there like a recommended throttle to make it last during transit without it falling out the sky or have I left something on thats cooking it?

Ah well, you make amazing planes, and focusing on yourself is more important than any game.

I shut it down for a "revamp" that never came. I've also been busy working on stuff (that's been so far more enjoyable) outside of the game. It hasn't sat too well with other members, there's more to me than just Stormworks and that idea doesn't seem to sit well with other people.

Thats sad, has the project been abandoned?

Valve Switch OFF
People always turn the valve switch on, which starves the engine of fuel.

My engines just die after i take off.

It will be addressed in the remaster. Then engine repair does fix the props

I don't know if this is planned, but I suggest a fire suppression system for the centre section of the aircraft

An additional issue with this plane; the propeller blades are prone to damage. When they are, this causes the aircraft in spin and if the user can't activate the engine repair in time can result in a crash. Not sure if it can be addressed though

The flight characteristics will stay, the changes will mostly be airframe adjustments and design changes + additions

It is a bit slow, due to the heavy airframe and weaponry load. The upcoming series remaster should address some of these issues.

i attach big gun and it made bad guy boom. 13/7 good -plane

There are torpedoes, but you have to subscribe to the torpedo preset required item

does this thing have torpedos? how do i use them tehy are only bombs

When you are using droptanks: VALVE SWITCH ON, FUEL PUMP ON
When you are not using droptanks: VALVE SWITCH OFF, FUEL PUMP ON

Right now, I'm flying just fine with the droptanks on

Actually nvm apparently its fixed i turned on the valves after take off and were good sorry for the inconvience!

Alright, I did some Testing and i found that turning on the pump and the valve kills the engines after a few seconds and all you need to do is keep only the pump on, but now I can fly normally without the drop tanks thats good. but even with the drop tanks properly placed on the aircraft i need the valves on to use the fuel from them. but when i turn on the valve even with the drop tanks it still kills it.

Someone else had this problem before, but I couldn't figure out what it is. I flew a mission yesterday with infinite fuel and electric off, and it stayed in the air with no problems.

Are you throttling down while trying to take off? (Up/Down Arrows are throttle)
Are you turning off the engine masters? (They're supposed to stay on.)
Are you turning off the fuel pumps? (They need to stay on!)

The aircraft is tried and tested in all weather and environments and has flown without fault on its many missions under my piloting. It even works in infinite fuel and electric environments.

As I'm writing this, I'm even on a mission right now with the most recent version and nothing abnormal is happening.

Uhm, Great Aircraft But for some reason after take off the engines die, i have infinite fuel and power off, in unsubscribed and resubscribed and it sometimes does it with the other variant of the aircraft but its fine but for this one 100% of the time it dies.

The aircraft has recently been on a 100km trip with no engine failures or abnormalities, and I take it out to combat often. Droptanks work and so do the fuel tanks. I think the problem might be on your end. The engines work well with and without infinite fuel.

Are you throttling down by using the arrows by accident?

All around an exelent aircraft that is fun to fly, but for some reason the shells of the autocannons keep ending up inside the cockpit blocking buttons and the view but still an great plane.
