I see why, should be Villager-specific hopefully haha.
I know of it at least, haha. Was considered but never really added. Who knows though!

Yeah that's just because of turbo mode, haha. Doesn't happen normally.
There is a way around it still, but I'd have to change the logic for the grab for that to work. I'll probably try remember to in the future!
I haven't tried without turbo, but i do have a couple ideas on how Vill could be interuped (by another character) so if you could look into that, that would be great.
No problem, I figured it out anyway so it's okay haha. At least you notified me about it anyway so that's still a good thing!
I was confused about this for a bit, but I tested it to recreate it myself and yes this appears to be a bug haha.
It's specific to size-changes though (like the cheat he has in practice mode, or through stuff like the Toads mushrooms) and how that interacts with the RNG of UAir/DAir.
So it's kind of a niche issue that isn't likely to happen in any matches, but still haha. Should be fixed though, so it'll be gone when I patch him again!
Not anti-ronald, just anti-cheapie in general! It can't trigger against vanilla characters though.
Who are you fighting? That's the anti-cheapie activating!
It's there for good reason, but if you for some reason don't want it to activate, you can hold Attack at the start of the match to avoid it.
Oh that's intentional! In the roster, all characters with a grab that can grab projectiles (so most grabs) can ignore projectiles if you hold Attack/Special. It's so that you can target a player more reliably and not accidentally grab a projectile instead.
Yeah it can grab projectiles; works on most enemy projectiles (depending on a few things, but especially within the KoB roster there is great compatibility between characters) and of course all of his own. Throwing fireworks upward for example is really fun, lol.
Glad you like the update(s)!
At the moment, the way the net works is that it can grab and throw projectiles, so it doesn't really pocket a projectile the way it does in Smash (though iirc, in Smash the net can only pocket items and not projectiles, but still).
So it means rivals Villager can't really pocket with the net at the moment, although he can throw projectiles with it which allows for a lot of cool stuff he couldn't do before. I might consider making it so that you can also choose to pocket it instead only throwing it though!
Also I see. Should be fixed now!
On a related note, if you have the rune equipped that makes all attacks cut the tree, the fully charged axe takes two hits to cut it.
Yeah if it gets hit then it sort of can't be hit again too quickly. I know what you mean though, as it can be a bit annoying when you're trying to cut it down and the axe just goes through it because someone hit it right before. So I might look into that as I have felt similarly about that!
Yeah you can re-pocket most items (with tree being an exception if it hits). I get what you mean though as UStrong is one of the best options for this and probably the easiest one to consistently re-pocket over and over.
So while I don't wanna take away re-pocketing or anything, I can probably make UStrong slower to re-pocket, just so Villager has to kinda choose to wait and re-pocket it if he wants to keep doing it (and at that point the opponent is either out of hitstun or in less of a disadvantageous position at least). So slowing it down will probably be enough, or at least a start.
All that said though, glad you like him! Most people seem to enjoy him and I know a lot of people looked forward to it, haha.
Same pretty much; played him a lot ever since he was added to Smash. So making him here with some fun twists was something I wanted for a while, haha. Glad you like it though and be sure to give him a vote if you enjoyed him!
Four slots left for New chararcters
Thank you! Glad you like Villager!
