I didn't make this map nor do I know how to Hammer. Sorry.
still probably the most fun experience ive had on gmod. 11/10 good game
You can type in the console 'ent_fire point_viewcontrol disable'.
I don't know how to Hammer. Sorry.
Being able to use a mounted Combine sniper rifle is already pretty cool, but the extra crosshair showing you where to aim when needing to lead enemies can't be praised enough, as it makes sense for a Combine weapon designed for long-range shooting would have something like that so both trained marksmen and regular Overwatch troops can be effective with it. My only real complaint about that is how many Combine soldiers show up and that the gun takes several shots to kill if you hit a limb.
I also like the weird stuff you see in the flooded barnacle room of the second map, since it looks like some kind of Xen growth you would see in overrun/Xenian infested areas outside of Combine control.
Maybe. I usually wait at least a year after the last update to a mod campaign before porting it so it's gonna be a long while.
10/10
The creator of this campaign has commented here that they were working on the sequel.
Try verifying the files of your Half-Life 2 games.
Otherwise, type in the console 'ent_fire point_viewcontrol disable'.
Don't forget to mount them into GMod. Since they're downloaded and not the actual games, you might need to mount them manually through the 'mount.cfg' file.
Also, I found that the downloadable content have missing files. Which prompted me to simply buy the actual games.
i installed the episodes 1 and 2 from gmod content website, do i need to get the half life 2 game to get them?
They're supposed to be lying on the ground, but GMod doesn't have those animations. Please read the 2nd WARNING!!! for the fixes.
Hello to you too! Thanks for endorsing my upload of your amazing campaign to GMod.
I, and many others, very much look forward to the sequel!
I wanted to thank you for promoting the mod for the Garry's Mod community! Keep it up!
A second part has also been announced, which you can check out at the link below:
https://www.moddb.com/mods/blasted-lands-2
You need to have Half-Life 2: EPs 1 & 2 mounted and verified.
You can also just type 'ent_fire point_viewcontrol disable' in the console.
There aren't any signs for a part two, unfortunately.
