Unfortunately not seeing this mod in mod preferences anymore while in-game, assuming the update broke it somehow

The dependency for this mod changed and it now requires you to have PreferenceSystem loaded as well in order to not get stuck in the main menu loading screen

This mod caused my game to be stuck in the main menu loading screen, it took me a while to single this one out since i had to remove all my mods, verify them, and then add them back group by group to find the culprit.

Not sure if you're trying to access it from the main menu (It does not exist there). The preferences are accessible in the pause menu.

"Customers will prefer table types based on the assigned priority group in Mod Preferences in ascending order."

Mod is visible in "Mods" but unfortunately I don't see any options in "Mod preferences". Is any solution for this?

It's because delta time (time since last frame update) is commonly used in the calculation of game physics to make the game framerate independent, ensuring consistency across all players. For PlateUp, it's used in things like moving players, customers, items across conveyors and many many other things.

With a greater customer speed, the customer will move a larger distance each frame. Coupled with a lower framerate, which further increases the distance, it is plausible that the customer could move a distance greater than 1 tile when accounting for stopping distance before changing direction

my frame rate is fine. they did enter on a few occasions but wouldn't on others. out of curiosity, how would frame rate stop them from just zooming back and forth forever? is it because the window of time they're on the tile they can enter on is short enough at that speed that dropped frames would cause them to miss that spot? not being adversarial i'm honestly curious.

Update the mod and it'll go away. Happy April Fools

If they aren't entering the restaurant, your game must be running at a really low frame rate O.o

If anyone is wondering why patrons keep running back and forth while refusing to enter the building, it is this mod. April Fool's jokes that involve making the game unplayable and forcing ppl to go through recently updated mods to fix it is just annoying.

Hi, after the update on 1st Apr, there is a new AprilFools-Workshop.dll in the workshop folder. In the package we see some appliances being changed to something else. What does it do? We have saw something weird in game and it caused texture error also after running with this mod updated.

You can thank the dev for overhauling the seating system, probably a bonus while adding back the hosting stand. Made the table type thing a 100x easier to do.

The specifications for how a table is decided to be of a certain type are pretty loose, but is sufficient to distinguish between Vanilla table types. I will make it more specific should the need arise, if other mods introduce new tables that are in conflict with the table type assignment feature. Let me know if you spot anything. :)

It is done! Note: Only NEWLY PLACED Bar Tables after the mod is subscribed to/updated to v1.0.0 will be affected by the assigned table type order.

The values aren't exactly accessible through a single Harmony Patch.

Not great progress. Just for some insights, the table type is not actually linked to the table entity in the game. What kind of table it is has to be figured out through a combination of values. Will look into it some more after I fix up the mods broken by the update :)

Yeah I get you, but having that ability would be nice, drives me mad when customers sit at a bar table instead of a fancy ones!

I can look to allowing the table type order to be adjustable. Not sure I want to limit it to what you mentioned to "prioritise fancy highest, then simple cloth, make bar table lowest etc", since other players may value tables differently.
