Can anybody help me out? All of my characters stand on the furniture instead of sitting down, any clues what could cause that?

I can now answer my own question: This mod is far too powerful. Even my Shek, which has trained her Dex to 66 by fighting crabs in Mowler`s Haul, can gain really fast progress...
It just is too much, too fast.
The mods itself is really cool, the meditation, gambling etc... but the stat-boost is to fast.
Like that, i takes too much challenges out of the game. If someone wants this, it is of course perfectly fine.
But for me, no-no. Want to have the feeling, that it was earned.
Another question: Is there a mod without that stat boost ? The link in the description doesn`t work.

How fast does the training with these furniture go ?
Some write, like it would be very fast... and that is not what i want. I wann use this for the last 10 points, from 80 -90.
But, if someone wants to use them too, i don`t wanna have it, like leaving the pc for a p*ss, and have someone trained 40 lvl :D
So could someone please tell me, how fast the training is ? Is it cheesy or not ?

i'm probably doing something wrong here im new to the game, but theres no blueprints under the CBT leisure objects tab, how can i access the items ? thank you!

It would be awesome if the water pipe consumed hashish to gain stats and if the card games required alcohol to gain stats. It would make the mechanics feel less like free stat boosts and more balanced while still being useful and immersive!

I LOVE these, but I kinda wish there was a cap for how much their skills could be trained on these thangs. Like 10-15 or something. Its lovely to have a way for characters to train these skills safely, but I keep getting frustrated with how I look away for a minute and suddenly my dudes have 40+ Dexterity from playing the lute a bit.

@mehdi: good, you figured it out yourself. A lotta folks new to Kenshi modding are having trouble with the fact that steam downloads mods to it's workshop folder, not the game's mod folder (with the stupid ID number as folder name); maybe we need a guide or pinned topic on top of the modding forum that explains the process short & crisp.

@iriemk nevermind you just have to rename the file to the inside .mod folder for fcs to recognize it my bad

@iriemk hey bro do you know why i don't see any mods when i start fcs? i tried to remove the options to trains skills with the furnitures too but i don't even see the mod when i start fcs

@Bishop: Quick & dirty way to change functionality with FCS:

-fire up FCS, select only this mod
-click "Changes" in the top row, select the desired furniture, right-click & "Open"
-on the right side of the furniture tab, open the "functionality" entry
-find the "stat used" field and set the value to "STAT_NONE" in the drop down

And a word of warning: When I modded Kenshi the first time, I also thought this was the only furniture mod I needed. But once you start beautifying your home in-game with awesome looking mods like this one, it can grow out of control quick, like walking through an IKEA store with unlimited credit. In that regard, take a look at Random Furniture & Little Garden , with those 2 and this here you get a lot of cool options for interior design.

It's a splendid mod idea and I am really interested in adding it to my mod list, but is there any way to remove an option to train skills with those objects? I generally play vanilla, have only fixes and one map mod. I thought about adding just a few objects for leisure, but don't really want to make the game easier for myself

@RtBucco I am not sure, maybe you are using a custom/modded race that does not have the animation? @DECEMBER what a lovely set up!

@Entoco: that sounds like the texture files have vanished. Maybe a file corruption? Try resubbing to the mod.

Sorry for the late reply Iriemk, you cannot as is, you need to edit them in Blender to adjust their position to origo and then add them to a placeable objects list. But the placeable objects do not work for a player, only a modder can place them. The way Kenshi physics work, normal buildable objects cannot be built on top of other buildable objects, one must make them prefab

@Cattrina: How would I go about turning the card pack, game boards etc into separately placeable "prop" items ? No Table, just the gaming gear, ideally placeable on any table-ish, flat surface. Can't just nuke the table part, then they'll float in mid-air above anything I wanna place them on.

@iriemk Do nothing, workshop content automatically updates. Maybe check your Steam dowload que to make sure it's actually downloaded, but yeah, that's about it.

@Cattrina: Dum-dum question, just started playing Kenshi again after a longer break, saw my favorite furniture mod got updated and now I'd like that update...only how? Just un-subscribe/subscribe again don't do anything, deleting it from worlshop folder and-resucbribe don't work...any tips how to do this?

Is there any way to use the forgotten construction set to add training level caps? I would like to make a patch but I can't figure out were the value to add a level cap would be. Any help would be appreciated.

Oh and as an addendum, the objects appear without issue, but I cannot build them outside the shift+f12 in game editor and the research is what seems to be missing.

Hrm, I cant fathom what among my mod list would be causing a conflict, but the research options just straight up isnt available, I am well past having basic furniture unlocked as well, so Im flabbergasted as to what could be causing my issue, because your other mod works seamlessly. I have to imagine it is something that is altering my research as a whole.

I have a tiny idea for the smoking pipe, would it be possible to use the fumes animation from the item furnace to make the pipe smoke on exhale?

Yes, it is possible to do statues. I once thought to make an art mod, where people could paint and sculpt and then sell those, but it would require a lot of work, those models would BE actual sculptures altho digital. I have never found time for that. The other option is to use the character meshes, pose them and make them into statues. But frankly the world of Kenshi does not really support the lifestyle of an artist.

Is it possible to create erotic statues (Aphrodite) in a bar or in an art gallery, such as a museum in the Louvre). thank you for your work

Might be a foolish question but, does this mod add the leisure objects to the various bars and taverns, or is this just for player built bases? either way, its a great mod and is now a must-have!

I accidentally became cat lon by playing flute though :D

Though I still get the message "must be placed inside a building" error on everything in the Interior - Gaming category. Maybe there is a conflict/load order issue on my end after all. Guess that must be the reason if it works for everyone else :D

It was my mistake, sorry. It's all there.

The gaming chairs are in the same category as the tables are. And all the items should be placeable both in and outdoors. If you tell me which item is not, I'll fix it right away.

What/where are "Gaming Chairs"?
Also, shouldn't I be able to place the game tables outside of buildings?
