I had sack head and it replaced the trinket to a sack instead of cracked key.

Not that I've properly explored mods, but I thought that enabling mods would disable progression. What is the point of having a mod like this if you won't unlock any tainted characters? Or am I just misinformed?

ultra lucky thing that happened to me once, I couldn't find any of my dropped trinkets for tainted lilith, and I began panicking. I was like, "It's fine I'll just beat MR BEAST then." I entered that side room and found a cracked key, wtf was that luck, somebody please tell me

@MrPizzaXD Just checked, works for me. Try reinstalling, make sure it is enabled and checkout the video to make sure you are doing everything right. May also be something totally unexpected and rare that had happend, so maybe just try again

People talking about the Red Key being in the chest for the first time do not know about the item you get if you open the room after unlocking the tainted character I guess, lol.

fun fact: you actually can red key again from the chest in mom's bedroom, it is just a super low chance (something like 3% but i forgor and im too lazy to check the wiki)
