would love this updated to work in b42. the original mod got updated and yet they still dont have this option in it. save us!

After some time has passed, I can say, it is not a wunderwaffe (good!). Less material-efficient than manual spear use but still a very good deal.
Ideally I would make it a regular spear hit and falling instead of an instant kill, but that might be too much to ask in terms of modding. Thank you for making that mod :)

yup, that did the trick. Not sure how to share the code or something, but the fix is pretty trivial anyway.

@Totsnuk Took a quick glance at the code. Throwing this idea just in case: maybe conditionally calling "removeSpearTile" inside the breakSpear function, when the spear condition reaches 0?

@Captain_Tofu Yes it is a very janky solution but it still does work, just not visually as you said.

Each time a spear triggers the spear vanishes as if broken. After 5 uses, the grave appears to be empty - but it still works as intended. So it is just a graphical bug.
After testing, spears mostly take 1-2 durability damage each triggering and are always lethal. Crafted spears have 5 max durability. Testing it with 20-30 zombies for each trap, assuming max durability.
Optimally, the trap triggers, does a spear hit damage (on low spear skill) and the Z falls flat. If survived, the Z stands up and continues unhindered over the tile. For each corpse, on the tile, a spear is deactivated until the trap is manually cleaned. So my idea, but no idea how code-able that is.
