Report a translation problem
After doing troubleshooting, the ping immediately dropped to a steady 56-60ms upon removing this mod. Not sure why it is causing the ping to skyrocket (This was tested in a controlled small base with only 6 light sources (most actual bases would have a lot more than this) In much larger bases with a lot more light sources, ping can peak between 300-500ms until you move out of render range of the lights.
If you can look into what is causing this if it is something with the mod, it would be appreciated as I do enjoy the mod, just not the ping.
Could you do something about the door too?
Using various modifications where slaves patrol and determine their route, they always get blocked in doors, so you have to specially create a route for them where there are no doors
Mod lagging the server, SFPS going down even on clean server.
Avoid this mod.
Perhaps a setting to allow it to be auto 20m but also during the day as well?
@Melekaiah, thank you. Will put all that into consideration. Still think it will be too much work for the users. Maybe I'll make another mod just for that. But everything will be on pause until next update. I have no HDD space left to install test live, among other things.
the day/night/both/none
none: works as original always off.
in combination with distance always off this coudl be used to turn off lights when someone is close, (say use in a dungeon area/trap/etc)
both: like always on, but since you seperate the distance toggle, you can have distance toggle light sources even in day, reason for this is, that day time during rain, storms, and especially on siptah can get really dark inside, forcing you to click always on during day, and switch back if you want the distance things working.
day / night is kind of similar. allows
the distance toggles, are so you can set auto on / off in smaller larger rooms, allowing you to fill / adapt to the size of the room. - more reasons but text heavy.
@Melekaiah, thank you for the comments and suggestions. Whenever I want to add something to a mod, I like to weight on how useful the new features would be versus the added complexity it brings. Can you give me a use case for those multiple toggles?
I absolutely love this mod because it allows us on the server to make seen our builds from afar with limited lights, and illuminte the inside without these massive performance hits!

This mod adds such a simple feature that seems like it can be so powerful
The notifications of light switches "Always On" - "Always Off" - "Auto" only show up for the first person to login to the server, and they see EVERYONE switching lights spammed to them. If the first person to login, later logs off, those notification rights get handed to the next person who was logged in.
If you get handed the notifications you, and only you, see all light changes being spammed to you, from any player of any clan that makes a change to their light.
No one else sees these notifications and how they're changing their own lights.
