Another good idea that I thought would have been part of a Space game, I was wrong. Thank you MTGraves for spotting another one and fixing it, the imaging was nice and subtle too. Cheers.

@RwexHouston - Not sure, they mostly used for breaking from movement, haven't really tried them out to see if they'd keep a grid in the air without additional thrusters. But have anit-grav system for that use would be a cool mod.

how cost effective are they in planets. say if it wanted to have a flowing base that just sits in orbit and maybe goes up and down. would they work better then a mix of thrusts

And that's what I like

@KEJWII - They work just like thrusters just with less forward thrust and way more breaking force. So each individual dampener you add stacks the breaking power, the more you have the more breaking force you'll get.

does it work when i put 5 of these dampeners will it be x5 more braking power?
or just only one works and the rest as a backup

No problem. I'll check it out, thanks!

@Azirahael - You know I've never really checked. But I'm 99% sure that its just like thrusters where it auto triggers reverse thrust, which is all breaking is. So passive only when not holding a key down. I'd say holding a key for reverse direction thrust would trigger forward thrust for that item, and that is what is reduced. So there's a little bit to help break but not much.

So it's a shitty thruster with a big brake?
Cool.
Does it only work when braking passively? Like, when you let go of the keyboard?
or does it work when you hit reverse too?
