Hi there jarhead, I was looking over the code for the solar panels and managed to fix a whole lot of issues with them for my own purposes. I was wondering if you'd like the updated code?

Here is a list of the changes I made:
- Decreased the cost of solar panels by 1/4.
- Decrease the power output speed of solar panels by 5x
- Gave solar panels a roof hitbox so they might be shot off from the roof layer.
- Change structure cable cost to be structure + two coils.
- Change armour cable cost to be Armour + two coils.
- Edited armour cable stats to be very similar to an armour 1x1.
- Fix power chaining from one solar panel part to another through pipes. This was perviously broken. Large solar arrays are absolutely possible now where before they wouldn't work.
- Allowed the game to treat solar panel and cable structure parts as if they were structure.
- Made it so that neither the cable part or the armour part produce power.

I just discovered that the solar panels are broken. the structure and armor cables don't transfer power, you can stick them alone down without the panels and they'll generate power. disregarding that, the fact they only transfer power in the direction the arrow is pointing means they're extremely limited in how you can use them.

i found this a while ago and forgot to comment on it i really love the fact you did landing pads especially for people like me who want to make carriers for their battle group. i hope u can find a way to make it so that the fighters can go through hyperspace with the carrier so that it doesn't require a jump drive it works amazingly with the fighter pack i have carnt wait for what you will do with this pack in the future keep up the good work

Whats the point of the larger crew rooms? the quarters gives 6 for 4 spaces, that has a value of 1.5, the crew room that is for 16 (4 quarters combined) only gives 13, that has a value of 0.8125. Its almost only half as good as the vanilla rooms.

Fighter Bed - 1.0
3x5 Crew Room - .666666...
4x4 Crew Room - .8125
4x6 Crew Room - .833333...
6x6 Crew Room - 1.111...

They are all worse than the quarters.

yea ok i see what i did, for crew construction to work i need a collider, so only way for the landing pads to work crew construction will need to be turned off otherwise they will brake it, ill get them working just know to keep crew construction off when building with them

Yea, i think the main thing is that the landing pads are having collision with other ships for some reason. i also see the lock button.

Be careful using the landing pad, I’ve lost a ship design because of it, I can’t use it anymore because the landing pad causes it to crash upon attempt of deletion

Maybe put this in the actual description "To dock ships the carrier ship must have the "dock" part found in the "landing pads" section, then fly the ship you wish to dock over the dock part (I'd suggest using direct control to pilot the ship over it or having your carrier ship move "under" the docking ship) turn off the thrusters on the docking ship to help with control, then select the carrier ship and in the bottom left should be a lock button, you may need to turn on "advanced controls" in settings"

Yea Krooms had FTL ships that were docked be able to jump with the ship, its something i might look into later on

The resupply system is from the classic version of the mod so it doesn't really work here. It would be interesting to see a system to allow crew to use the hanger to enter docked ship. In addition do docked ship jump with the carrier? I know some dock mods from classic could do that but I'm not sure how complicated it is to make co-jumping work in this version.

0.0.8a now out, small fixes to the landing pad fixing the mirrored parts issue and changed the lights to now use the colour wheel

The landing pads and dock do have something in their code that reads like to refill the ship with ammo and HE missile parts. Is that functionality actually in game?

Are docked ships supposed to jump with the main ship? so far i have been unable to get docked ships to stay with whatever their docked to when jumping to a hyper relay. do they need their own independent jump drives?
