Aye, I doubt I will ever return to this one (as Soulash 2 is a thing) so go ahead and upload it yourself if you want (just gib credit plz :D)

Hello Nathan, I've fixed some issues regarding the sprites having dark backgrounds bones sometimes just appearing as black squares and piles of bones tier >1 not being craftable. I don't know if the fixes for the graphics will persist when uploaded to the workshop but I believe they will.

I could upload a new mod to the workshop with your blessing containing the fixes. Or we could do it some other way if you wish!

You can get T2 alters at level 2, though due to how the game runs, it is totally RNG if you will actually be offered the summon T2 altar ability.

Hmm can't seem to get the tier 2 alter to unlock. I'm level 5 is that too low?

Just find out that tier 2 altar is gone only at lvl 8 I unlock altar tier 3

I can't craft tier 2 bones. It says in the tool requirements none.

It works no problems but your mod has some bug textures with bones (some times they are just black square and some spell effects have shovel and bone textures and black boxes around them) and corpse explosion dosent works on summoned skeletons.

Not sure if you're still working on this, but did your trick of copying the files, and still have the black boxes under the summons, and on animations

It is possible they require the appropriate altar which you can get by levelling and getting lucky with RNG to get the choice.

And the reason that my things lose graphics, is that the mod is forced to look in the games directory for those assets. Not the workshop directory where steam downloads it.

Though this can help fix the black box bug:
"READ THIS PLEASE:
Due to a pair of bugs in how one can mod this game, Graphics will not appear correctly. Even with this workaround, some issues will still occur.

Go to the main drive the game is installed in, go to Steam, Steamapps, Workshop, Content, then search for "2913160731" (this mods ID)
Copy that, go to the games main folder, then Data, Mods, paste it in there. Rename "2913160731" into "nathan_nathans_necromancer+" then it should work after enabling it in the game (ensuring to enable the newly copied one and not the OG one from the workshop)."

Yeah, sadly an issue with the game. Basically, I have to set this mod to "overwrite" for the major functions of this mod to function. But doing so makes it:
Incompatible with most mods.
Messes up the base game animations and some textures.

So, in effect, this mod is abandoned.
At least for now, I do 100% intend on bringing it over to Soulash 2 and expanding it there when it releases.

I have also got confirmation that the black boxes on my assets is a bug. Basically, it is looking for my graphics in the Games directory. There is no way to force it to change to the Steam workshop directory.

The weird animations and rain is an issue with override. But when those two bugs are fixed (override and directories for graphics). Not only will it work out of the box, it will also be waaay more compatible with mods.

I think being since you have it in as override you need to copy all of the game assets to your icon and world folder, I feel it is looking for something in the mod that is not there.

btw still have balck boxe when hit some1 and when minions hit and take damage even rain made of black squares (looks funny)

yeah i was Necro before but some reason it was not showing.. im not sure what my other issue is.. everything is a black box with your mod. did the assets not carry over?

It isn't race locked, no. You can be any race. As long as you choose Necromancer as yer class you will have access to everything :D

As when you break the Tier 1 Alter, you will gain the Tier 1 skeleton summons.

You should have a "Summon Alter Tier 1" ability, use that, then break the alter (Golems can just walk into it) with any ability (There is a "Learn Alter" ability as well that can break it). As for Item Icons being black, have you got any other mods enabled? Even the Infinite Durability mods break this.

Okay so, putting it in one post love the idea.. but just even on its own some item icons are just black, hit box collision animations are black, and I am unsure if I read that correctly in info.. we supposed to have level 1 summons starting out? I ask because I do not see them.
