Yeah nothing I can really do about that because Dismemberment Overhaul mod is only expecting so many animal models (the vanilla limits) and this one goes considerably beyond that. Glad you like it tho!
Interesting ideas man but that's just not my interest right now, doing more animal based RoRs. I have no doubt you would take great screenshots but there's really no need, this mod is quite old and I think the current selection showcases what the mod changes well enough.
That being said, in the future, I will be doing animal variants for the new beasts introduced in the most recent DLC, like the Colossal Squig and Thundertusk, and taking screenshots then would be useful.
I think I've played most of the quest battles in this game over the almost decade its been since I begun playing it lol but yeah QBs are fun. I'm not inclined to include horses because there's already a few horse mods out there, for Bretonnia/Empire specifically. There might be one for Elves as well. I think it was either this game or WH2 there was a mod where an actual horse fanatic retextured the horses according to real world breeds, pretty cool.
No promises but I'll look into it, potentially as a sub-mod. Removing the bones is easy, the hard part is re-texturing over the open wounds and making it look normal.
I have looked into the issue and have decided I will not fix it. It is very time consuming for me and I've wasted too much time for something I quite frankly, do not care about.
Boars have a more intricate than usual model and variant system, and every time I tried to fix it, it messed up something else. I am done.
Anyone else is welcome to engineer a solution and I will implement it if it works.
Arachnarok Flingers were not being displayed in their blue colors, CA decided to name their material files and texture files in the exact same way as one of my mod variants so the Flinger regrettably did not have its unique colors. That is now fixed!
Go ahead man!
Sorry to hear that, hope you figure it out.
Perhaps one day, if someone else doesn't do it first. I recall there were a few dino variety mods for WH2.
@SRX33
Thank you! Yes, it is fine for that.
Thank you! I could possibly do that, I'd have to see how it affects the Ogre riders of course since I'd be increasing the saddle size at the same time so there is a limit to how much larger I can make em, but one of these days I'll give it a go, and if you see a mod for it, you'll know my experiment was successful.
I think this is beyond the scope of the mod, but have you ever thought about changing the actual model of the rhinoxes? At the moment they are just the morfang model, but with a different head, when they should be much more massive and imposing, as the premier heavy monstrous cav of the WH world.
Very welcome!
