Excellent work. Love how the trousers and shirts are different shades in each camo. This works great when making a config faction as looks like some of the guys are veterans with faded BDUs and other are green recruits! The Duck Hunter stuff is great for a South Korean Marine (Vietnam era) I'm making.

Would you consider retexturing the rain parkas from S&S so we can have Duck Hunter trousers on the bottom half?

Great that you're updating this, I use it a lot in Africa Ablaze. An addition I would love to see personally, is a longsleeve version to go along with the shortsleeve Khaki BDU you have now (thats been very useful), or that plus khaki pants/white tee.

Hi mate love all your stuff here A: because it's really good quality, and B: because you can use it for a host of post war scenarios right up to the present. I used your Belgian lizards and brushstrokes for my South Vietnam Airborne faction addon.

I don't suppose you could make some more Frogskins (with OD trousers and with Frogskin trousers) with the base tone a bit brighter (more like the US WW2 Pacific ones) then i could do some really good French Indochina factions? Love the Frogskins you've already made as well as they look 'worn in'.

They have the addon rhod_hats.pbo. The config patch for that is called "class Rhodesian_Hats". So that is the addon with the error you encounter.

But I can't say WHY it is causing that error. And if my mod's removal makes his mod work then it's a real mystery, one I can't really speak to why mine won't cooperate.

I updated it with the aformentioned change of the cfg_patch_name. But if I were you I would go into your [] or [] and windows explorer search for "Rhodesian_Hats".

As it can't be my mod per se, there is literally 0 reference to that in any of the mod. Rather someone else must have that addon/cfg_patch_name and it somehow competes with mine.

If you can figure out what mod uses "Rhodesian_Hats" then I might be able to figure out how to get them to play nice with my mod. No guarantees. But without knowing who "Rhodesian_Hats" belongs to I can't do anything. Because it can't be me.

My relevant headgear is named stuff like sns_hat_sadf_32nd_A_01 or sns_hat_sadf_nutria_A_03 or sns_hat_rhodesia_fieldcap_A or sns_hat_rhodesia_A_01. Literally nothing is named RHodesian_Hats in the mod from what I can see.


The only other thing to try is to shift the load order of my mod. Go into the steam launcher for arma 3 mods and drag and drop it either at the top or at the bottom.

So I looked at my files and I don't have anything named "Rhodesian_hats". No paa, no addon, no pbo, nothing.

sns_sadf_rhodesia.pbo has my rhodesian stuff.
the cfg_patch name of it was "uniform_config_sns_gooses", which does overlap with my addon "sns_goose_vertical_lizard_camo_1a".

So I will go ahead and change that and upload it in a minute, but otherwise Rhodesian_Hats seems like another mod having a compatibility issue. Which, for some reason mine is interfering with.

But I look at my config for the sns_Sadf_rhodesia pbo and there is zero references to a "Rhodesian_hats".

At the same time I checked the possible suspects of Rhodesian mods and none of them have such a pbo by name.

yeah I see someone else had an issue too. The problem is I can't really fix it if I can't replicate it, but god knows I'll have to figure out how to fix it soon once I host it myself.

I'll go ahead and peer at the config, see if there's something that might be solvable there. Like removing the addon requirement or something

ya it was crashing my server so i had to remove it from the mod pack. ill check it to see if that fixed it. and yes its part of the S&S modpack but i think you mod reskins it or reads it somehow not to sure how all that works,

"simc_uaf_69" should be in S & S. I am not sure why it's giving you that error. I am going to host a server with this mod eventually, but I am not sure when. If I encounter the issue i'll try and fix it myself, but I can't say why it'll be doing that without knowing more.

Any chance you could add in a SLA camo version of "Tropical combat jacket 1963/OG107"? The M88 being used in the just released PRACS/SLA mod look just off. It would just open up doors to make a much better SLA faction. The Takistan Lizard version you did worked out great.

Fixed the issue, thanks again Hyena (and Henrik for cluing me how to fix it).

I noticed Tanzanian DPM lacks blood overlay, I need to fix that but I forgot to this time around. I'll try and remember to do that in the future.

Think I got a fix, thanks to Henriksson. Adding modelSides[]= { 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 }; to the cfg vehicle entry for each one should fix it.

At least in the editor when I put a PAVN in the cuban uniform I edited I can kill him and then wear his uniform. But if I assign him any other cuban uniform without that change I can't. So that should fix it. I'll work on that today and try and put out a release later.

Thanks for bringing that to my attention, that's definitely not intentional.

I think I know the issue, though I will have to test it to try and fix it later today. I assigned them the class b_soldier_base_f (blufor) as a reference point in cfg vehicles. I should assign them the indfor or opfor.

My guess is when I assign them it in the editor it's all gucci, but if you try and spawn them in it isn't since you can't equip them (I was indfor/opfor and killing an nva in cuban suit I couldn't equip, but when I was blufor I could).

Going to mean I have to designate what uniforms belong to which factions, and possibly do duplicates. Stinky. But good to know! Thanks for that Hyena, I'll fix it soon.

Just a heads up, these uniforms only work on BLUFOR characters, I tried making an OPFOR faction using a bunch of these uniforms and they spawn in without them, where as BLUFOR soldiers spawn in fine. Is there any chance of adding OPFOR variants at least for items like the Cuban Lizard camo?

Super cool update. All I recommend now is more lizard/dpm/strichtarn combos of the og107 retextures for pmc and sadf setups.

I haven't uploaded them obviously yet, but I will try to do so in a few days.Also made the moonballs a bit brighter since while I went off IRL pics for the darker camo tones, I figured I'd try brighter for a change.

So the main issue of the smocks (1965 jacket) is that the rolled sleeve version has a graphical glitch where the upper corner of one pocket is fucked, referencing the old texture. There's no apparent way to fix this that I know of - the entire texture I made could have a full camo overlay but still have the glitch.

The long-sleeve smock version does not have this issue, so I was able to do the three belgian camos on it. The pants come from a different model (TCU) so while I can get the textures close, there's a little bit of a difference that I am not of a mind to fine tooth comb fix - IE maybe the camo is a little lighter on the pants, a little darker, a little bigger in pattern or whatnot.
