@ChamaNaHannah I'd love to do that, but I need to learn to write the Lua for a system like that. I plan on doing so, but it won't be happening right away.

For the other comments, I have updated the description.

I loved the textures but i didn't like them overwriting the patches.

If you could pull out a kind of reinforcement system, where you add this armor padding regardless of the clothes being damaged or not and add a lil bonus to bite and scratch without replacing the normal patches it would be amazing!

You could balance it out by requiring a certain amount of tailoring and consuming way more resources to do this "special padding" or straight up make them craftable gear.

I know some people are already creating new slots. Depending on the limitations, this could be a really cool way to add a new layer of protection without sacrificing anything else (including the patches) :lunar2019piginablanket:

I see pictures of medieval armor. Where/What are the patches? Is it only for these particular armors, because I don't see any mod requirements either. Nice outfits though.

Hey Red Goober, the concept is shown, but the implementation isn't explained at all.

If you say something replaces patches, but has the appearance of a full set of armour, it has to be explained how it works in-game.

Does it mean that applying one single patch fix to an article of clothing, transforms it into an entirely different piece of clothing? Is it gradual?

Without Ezeepeezee's reply to El, I would have assumed this Replaces, an Armour Patch. Not, Replaces Patches, with Armour.

@El it replaces the texture of cloth/denim/leather patches on your armor, which are applied with the Tailoring skill.
El 24 Dec, 2024 @ 7:44am
i dont get what this mod does actually?
ezeepeezee  [author] 21 Jan, 2024 @ 9:11am
@Archadies Leafwalker They are cloth gambeson, if you mean the first set. The second is denim layers, and the third is studded leather.
Archadies Leafwalker 20 Jan, 2024 @ 11:56pm
@ezeepeezee Are those metal armors or cloth gambesons?

@Haku There shouldn't be an issue afaik, unless the server that doesn't work has another clothing patch replacer (like Invisible Patches). This mod however is just a handful of .png textures, there should be almost no conflicts. I run a server though so if you can give me a bit more detail about the setup I might be able to help

Hello, I have 2 servers with the same mobs but the armor patch replacer mob is not activated on one. what do i have to do to fix it?:spiffo:

Could somebody suggest mod that increase clothe patch benefits? In vanilla 10 level of tailoring give you 10% from patching your clothe (with leather).

I want increase this number from 10% to 30%

@Biggles They show up on Long Socks, but the foot part of socks doesn't have a patch mask, despite being able to patch it. They do show up on aprons, vests etc.
TTVbadluckbiggs 24 Jan, 2023 @ 11:33am
@ezeepeezee thanks for the quick response, i actually had one more question, do these textures show up on other items like socks, aprons, gigamart vests, etc.?
ezeepeezee  [author] 24 Jan, 2023 @ 10:23am
@Biggles thanks! I don't know for sure, looking at the code/textures for Backpatches, they're in the same place as the 'chest' patches from this mod. They aren't being applied through the armor patch system however, so I don't know whether they will lay on top or below my textures. My guess is that they'll be on top, since the vanilla clothing patches would conflict with Backpatches as well and the author probably accounted for that.
TTVbadluckbiggs 23 Jan, 2023 @ 2:39pm
is this compatible with Backpatches (build 41)?

also, this is amazing, it adds so much life to the vanilla tailoring

Hi, I'm representing a larger server and was wondering if we could please put your mod in a mod pack for our server. This is specifically for our own manageability, reduced workshop update restarts, version control, and server longevity between wipes. The modpack would be private and all recognition of the mods inside will be given to the owners of those mods. We appreciate any leeway you can give us on this, so we can provide our players with the best experience.
