The discord link doesn't work. I'm considering updating it to V68, but I'd like to talk about it first since I don't know what the code mod is for.

The mod also introduces muskets, which will make it too difficult to ensure compatibility.

When used with Song of Muskets it causes the game to crash. Please talk to other devs about fix. Thank you for all of our community.

ion know if others have this problem but for some reason my citizens randomly leave for no reason, like even in my starting 10 they start to leave and fuck my playthru up. i only encounter this problem while having this mod on so its kinda sad since i like this mod

If you use several mods, I can't do anything for you, so you'll have to add the recipe manually.
Check which version you're playing and whether it's up to date. Mod version: 4.3.2.
As for me, I have in the refining technology, secret of gold and the ingot is made in the metal smelter building.

Checked the smelter, just metal. Perhaps something is overwriting it so I have to check.

By Forge you mean the Smithy or the Metal Smelter? I don't have that option and I'm pretty sure I researched everything relevant to ore and metal.

@dinglebop jones I'm currently very busy. If you want to change the output value to make it easier, I advise you to look in the steam folder in “init” for the building that handles water management.

The new building is already ready, but I need to test it to see if there are any bugs.

How do you make Gold Ingots? I have a decent sized gold deposit but it'll sell far more as ingots. Also good lord the value from ore to ingot is insane.

Water must be removed from drinks. If you have shortages, the peons will use water as a last resort.

The planks are in the carpenter's workshop.

Hello! I seem to have a problem with water as a resource. I try to haul it to my bakery, however everyone seems to take the water before it gets there. Any way to solve this?

Got it, just wanted to make sure that arrows/ammo were confirmed to NOT be needed for muskets and that muskets essentially auto-create their ammo.

The musket file = the bow file, just the sound and values change. If you have problems with muskets, it's probably the reload rate that's lower. If the basic file is bows, then I imagine that training is done in the archery range. Unless I inadvertently forgot that the musket must have a training area.

So no ammunition needed to be supplied to the musket division and train them in bows NOT crossbows to gain proficiency in muskets; correct?

What are muskets classified as? In other words, what do I train my musket divisions in, crossbow or bows? Do I need to add arrows for the divisions as well?

Is musket coded to has chance to explode on user?
My musket unit seem to randomly explode into gore when during battle. And I don't see any enemy using range or catapult. I am not sure if this is intended or bug.

@VizardAlpha - Heyo - I'm looking at the Syx Discord and I'm under Workshop> Mods-Testing, did you want me to make a post? I've never used this feature of Discord before. I'll probably send you several since a war happened on my last save.


It was a clean new save on an update. I have been updating it regularly on the beta branch.
I could be wrong and it could be a brand new bug. Unless this mod conflicts with some standard x2 farming/industry production.


Just put any of my armies on the world map and within a day or 2 they will drop down to half or less. Then a bunch will start getting recruited back at the city and have to retrain before they can deploy back out.

Thanks! I do enjoy the mod by the way! Excepts water lol - Crossbows seem OP as hell too.

Basically, the mod has the same stats as the vanilla. I find it hard to see why the mod should be the problem.

I believe this mod is causing issues with standing armies. I'm not a new player and I'm well versed in battle mechanics for this game. In V66 I've fielded armies ranging into the thousands with no supply issues. Worked that all out in the past. Now that I'm using this mod on a new save with a boat load of supplies(all army depots are max sized and at least 50% full - I made a 100 person army to stand on a city I took. No longer at war. The army keeps dropping to 20 units. Everytime I swap it out or try different units, within a day or two they drop down to 20 units. They have full supplies. There is no desertion happening. Everyone on the Syx discord thinks it might be linked back to here. Every mod I am using had no issues before this.

Another diminish value item is musket from what I can see.
[wood = 30 + steel = 600 + gear = 1500] = 2130 selling > [Musket] = 1800 selling

I'm well aware that sushi doesn't currently offer much, even though it's expensive to make. I'm thinking of increasing production, changing some stats or simply removing the sushi.

Making Salmon into Sushi seem to diminish the value of the total input item?
it's 7.5 fish > 1.5 salmon > 2.5 sushi
in term of value it will be...
(Fish cost = 280) > (Salmon = 772) > ( Salmon + other ingredient = 857) > ( Sushi = 910).
When factoring in the breakdown of Kitchen maintain. Making Sushi seem to has no value added to the item.

Yeah, but when I checked the stats changes in the military panel they give weight, acceleration and force, but among the minuses it had a whooping -80% speed.

It was the only mod running.

I just wiped the whole mod folder and that got it to work. I think something older was somehow interfering.
