followed the tutorial, can't seem to get the skins to work well cause most of the model shows as a pure black texture

the model doesn't cast shadows on custom lights, please make the model cast shadows

where is tutorial for adding custom skins? ( Like skins 64x64? )

There is a way to add custom skins. But you have to do several manipulations with the materials. I will probably make a video to explain how to do that.
