@spdyvkng In some infomodes buidling highlights are not shown not to interfere because those modes themselves do highlight buildings. Also, paths are not shown in Traffic Routes and Public Transport views as the game utilizes path visualizer in these modes itself.

@rkumob I concur with @Rafario and @Hugtrain. The vanila path highlighting disappears. In addition, when I have any overlay on (the screen turns "white" when checking different stuff, for example the default path highlight), then the hightlight disappears from buildings and vehicles.

Excellent idea, I'm looking forward to seeing it fixed.

very usefull mod BUT to bad it disable with vanilla paths, clicking on a truck to know where its going is something i cant pass on. i hope you will get around that little annoyance

@Hugtrain @andreas.heinchen It's not possible to break the save with this mod. It doesn't save anything, nor modify any savable data.

I can't see the traffic routes anymore and I also can't disable the mod without breaking the save

Thank for your work, time and effort.

After disabling I am no longer able to load a map where I used your mod. I get an error message: "Object reference not set to an instance of an object [System.NullReferenceException] Details: No details"

good mod. But I believe it needs to be optimized. As the game performance lowers drastically when using it.


I don't know if this is intentional, but this mod its also disabling the vanilla default path highlighting, thats a bit annoying, even though this mod's funcionality is superior sometimes you just want the simplicity of the vanilla feature.

@rkumob I started to build with a limited 80 FPS... It could have been above 100. Next time I will build a smaller city.

@StayHungryStayFoolish I see you have pretty low framerate, this may be the reason paths get visible pretty late for you. The visibility toggles and updates every 200 frames so that recalculations didn't eat up CPU time too often. I'll look if I can optimize it.

And I'll look further to maybe somehow improve usability for public transport. I've used it to debug my goods deliveries so haven't really looked deep at public transport.

@rkumob Thank you for this nice, tiny mod, that combines all commuter destination functions into one. The routes take some time to get visible, but I am pretty satisfied. Please check the option to step to the next station of the public transport vehicle and show its results. I have sent an award.

@lgaquino That's right, because Traffic Routes view employs completely different logic and keeps internal path visualizer busy with its vanilla work. I should've been more clear about "all" infomodes. It's all infomodes expcet Traffic Routes and those that highlight buildings themselves, i. e. it's only non-interfering infomodes.

@Pexal, I wouldn't say it somehow a replacement for Commuter Destinations as it only shows destinations of those passengers currently in selected vehicle. Also, I don't think this mod would conflict in any way with Commuter Destinations since it simply enumerates vehicle's citizen units and in no way interferes with transport manager or lines or any.

It shows final destination of passengers (it may even be outside connection to which a passenger will get way later changing to a train or a plane first).

This seems interesting! About the public transport vehicle showing passenger paths - would this be equivalent to the commuter destinations mod, would they conflict? Does it show the building final destination or the path like the vanilla game when you select a specific person/vehicle? Definitely will give the mod a look once i am able to play, a very interesting concept that would finally explain where my silo trucks go
