When the placeholder Character dies in the siege the Mod won't work properly. I haven't fond a way to make the character immune to death by siege; Weather or not the character dies is random so it should work if you reload and trie again.

1.16: I started the war for Atlantis, but it ended inconclusively and landed a character there...

@Skard4Lyfe I'm pretty sure the the decision NEEDS to be taken in order to actually take Atlantis

Don't worry, you automatically declare war for Atlantis (Like a Varangian Adventure) and there's several decisions connected to removing it

I dont take the decision and let about 100 yrs go by and decide to take it now that it has AI NPC's in control. I take it. Now every county has a permanent debuff still

I take the decision. Siege the central island for 6 months. War ends inconclusively every time. A physical npc controls the island now. Attack and take again. Now I have a tribal county with the uninhabited modifier still in place. How did this help me at all

To add on to what Fly_Squirrell said, if you take the title via cheats/console commands, all holding retain the uninhabited debuff, making them absolutely worthless.

It'd be a shame to see this mod disappear because I enjoyed playing with Atlantis, having the extra land on the map made it a bit more interesting, especially when an AI was running Atlanis.

Is there any possibility that you could remove the "forced decision fire start"? As this mod cannot be used in the modern game and you cannot invade the island otherwise - I suppose its just that this is somewhat of an inconvenience. And by not preventing the player from attacking the island normally the player is able to take Atlantis even if the mod isn't updated in the future. Regardless, I hope it gets updated soon.

If you read the patch notes you'll see that the creator hasn't had the time to figure out the new system for events so the volcano event doesn't do anything for now.

Right, well I don't know, but if OP hasn't updated it to 1.9 yet, I wouldn't expect to get any support for 1.8.

The mod isn't compatible with 1.9 (yet) TheTinyGameBox. Hopefully we'll get an update eventually, this is probably one of my favourite mods.

It doesn't work properly. Event doesn't show in decisions, you need to enter the event code into the debug console to start.

Certain provinces appear to be broken as well. Lodz in Poland for example has missing textures and something is causing their development to reach 100 within 10 years of starting the game.

Definitely needs an update to work with 1.9

don't start directly on atlantis. You have to start anywhere except atlantis then you have a decision that makes you colonize atlantis while losing your old land

@Estellus the only requirements are being landed and having a title of count or higher. You also can't start on Atlantis yourself, the "historical" Character needs to hold it.

What's the trigger to start the decision chain? I've gotten the event at the start of the game about Atlantis rising from the depths, but haven't seen a followup decision or event. Have I just not played long enough/hit the right threshold?

@Keynos When founding the Kingdom of Atlantis through diplomacy you need to have friends, that hold a Kingdom or Empire Title. For the first step one Friend, for the secound step three.

I have a problem with the mod, I can't found the Kingdom of Atlantis. This seems to be because I probably don't have a friend...
at least that's the only point I haven't met yet.

It says at the bottom that all points must be met along with the title must be King or higher.
What kind of friend do you mean? Or what exactly has to be fulfilled in order to found the Kingdom of Atlantis?

Not present in mod's files in the first place
If you're using console you can get it by pressing tab after set_culture command when you create that culture
Must be the last in suggested list with some generic name

I want to suggest 2 thing)
1) Add "world_atlantis" region into "world_europe_west" region. It will allow to use some innovations that are restricted to Europe region
Atlantis is not in any world region right now, only in graphical region and it's strange

2) Add some additional building slots for capital.
Quite easy to do in decisions or just scripted effect on game start

Graphic Issue with CoW3 graphics submod - land of Atlantis is gray and doesn't show any terrain features. Fixed by removing CoW3 graphics submod.

I feel like its bold of me to ask, but it would be really cool to see Hybrasil as an alternate seperate mod.

This feels partially greco-centric which is really cool for some of my playthroughs.

A hybrasil mod would lean in more to celtic mythology and would be slick to see!

Thank you for your Atlantis mod, its perfect for a magical themed character :D

@Briar Rose On my end the decision does appear to work as intended. Do you fullfil all other requirements, the province titles must be in existence at the moment you try to do the decision.

I cannot 'Exalt The Atlantic Empire' even though I completely control 'The Atlantic'.
