@Fish: Also changed the flag to the Stars and Stripes.
I'd recommend nobody put any effort into any of the puzzles herein expecting the payoff to have been worth the effort. It's like doing basic arithmetic exercises with a 200lb pencil or something--you'll work hard and you won't feel clever at the end of it.
At least the hints and walkthroughs are well implemented and thorough.
Unless I went full stoopid a century is 100 years, correct? Deducing that, at BEST, that would mean someone was born in, say 1899, and died after 2000. Martha was only alive from 1943-2017, so how is that two centuries? I has much confuse.
Have you checked the solutions? Also, for some reason, players keep mixing up the first two fairy tales (left to right, it's Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Little Red Riding Hood, and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs ). Could that have happened to you?
@the_vivster: Sorry that this happened. Normally, such items are automatically returned to you. If not, there is nothing I can do about it, I'm afraid.
@Greater Than Less Than: Good point, I've added that to the clues.
@Great Wight Spark: I was not aware of the British/American difference here, thanks for letting me know!
@H2G so did I. The earliest member died a year after the graveyard was established, so it made sense to have him as founder. Maybe the clue should read "I established this graveyard for my parents, and any of my blood relatives."
I think the problem with the graveyard clue is saying "NOT ONLY" can be read to mean "including by marriage but that's not the only way". This is why @Falco says it contradicts the example which says your wife is not by blood.
I don't think that kind of puzzle exists outside this room. I'm proud to say that I came up with the spoonerism puzzle idea without an external prototype.
You can read it as an infinite circle: 3+2 = 8-3 = 3+2 = 8-3 = 3+2 = 8-3 = 3+2 = 8-3 = ...
Overall, love the puzzles!
I don't think the definitions contradict one another. Your brother's wife is not a blood relative because the relation is purely through marriage (i.e. if your brother were not married to his wife, you would not be related at all).
An example of a blood relative regardless of marriage would be your grandmother: It does not matter if your grandparents are married, they are still both blood relatives to you.
The same applies to relatives that are further removed, like the parents of your brother's wife (no blood) or the second marriage children of you grandmother (blood).
"A blood relative is a person that is related NOT ONLY through marriage..."
next paragraph contradicts this:
"...your wife and your brother's wife are not your blood relative..."
still another 10/10 room
@Monkey_Chicka: I have made the math ball solution clearer.
@Graveeater: I have improved the explanation - I'm afraid it's a tough concept to explain in few words.
@Mr. Beef: fixed
It says your parents and children bit does not mention your siblings.
