Since you're still around Zaire, can this mod make the biotech cat ears have fur like the pawn's hair color instead of being skin.

I see the issue. I have no idea why this happened, but it must have been due to the workshop.
I couldn't find the original version of this mod on my PC so I downloaded it from the workshop to add the new version number. Something weird must have happened in that process.

I have since found the original version, so I'll reupload that.

However, the shortnose is part of a patch for biotech expansion - mammalia I was considering in the past. It was never actually meant to be included.
I'll leave it in, though.

Sorry I wasn't sure how to describe it. But there seems to be a huge blurry blotch on the texture, sorta like there was a misclick with a large airbrush. In-game it appears like a weird halo or something around a pawn's head.

What kind of mistake? It's easier for me if you're descriptive.
Also, I am only maintaining this mod now, so changes to the textures won't happen unless there are serious problems.

Thanks for the complement. Unfortunately, I'm not currently planning on expanding this mod further because I no longer use it.
Instead, I'm using the UNAGI retexture mods by UNA because they have a lot of variety that Nals' original faces don't. It's a more complete collection of mods than what I've made including biotech parts and hair/beard styles.

If anyone likes my textures enough to expand on them, they are entirely welcome to do so.

Love this mod, been using it ever since it came out. Do you have plans to do the same with the sanguophage and lycanthrope head attachments added by their respective VRE mods? Cheers.

@Zaire82 hi there, i am currently working on a mod which adds Fantasy Races&Factions for Medieval Overhaul.

Would it be ok for you if i use your assets in my mod? I dont do this for me, but for the community, as i use your mod anyways. I just want to keep dependencies as low as possible.

Of course proper Credit will be given + you will be in the "strongly recommended" category - as it makes sense to use your mod alongside mine...

This mod doesn't have specific load-order requirements. Do you have other mods that change these textures being loaded after this one?

If you're unsure, you can just put this last in the load order and that'll override anything else that might be conflicting.

Glad someone did make this; got tired of having to basically scrap all colonists/pawns with different xenotypes due to how jarring the vanilla textures are with the facial animation heads

@AlmostMidnight That would be something to ask Nals, since their mod is what overwrites furskin heads with normal ones. It would be easier and better for efficiency if they simply alter their mod.
Also, I don't know how to mod Rimworld's code anyway.

I'd also request some patches for Vanilla Expanded's "Races" series (as of writing this, VRE: Saurids, Genies, and Phytokins all have some features that might not play nice with Nals Facial Animation)

@eighmy_lupin This mod just replaces textures, so it works with anything. I don't know if the textures line up okay with the vanilla reskin, though, but it shouldn't be that bad.
