Recompiled against 1.6, tested it quickly and it seems to work. Let me know if there are issues and I'll get my team of monkeys on it.

Here are the answers to those who want it, as tested:

I know this is a fork of an addon for the forbidden mod, but is this still compatible with RJW?
- Yes, it is compatible with RJW. That addon also works for the 1.5. as well if you're curious - just change the folder structure and such.

like Naraxa said, would it work with egg laying pawns like saurids? or just conventional birth pawns? Am curious, if I were to use this mod with the insector chestburst pregnancy system, would I be able to get multiple chestbursters from a single (unfortunate) surrogate?
- It makes use of the vanilla BioTech-system so it doesn't affect them.

Thought this mod would be cool you know small chance for twins cool thumbs up. Then they just kept coming 1,2,3,4 =D Now the parents are having mental breaks because they can't sleep or recreate lmao. 10/10

If it's that inappropriate, I'm no longer sure I want to know about it. Better leave well enough alone.

As for this mod, my mother pawns won't stop lactating as usual after having triplets or more. Is that intentional?

Would it be possible to make the multi-birth process more realistic time-wise? Twins are usually born within minutes of each other, but here the entire birth process starts over from the beginning after the first child, leading to starving mothers and doctors/family falling asleep during the process :-(.

Cool. One thing I would like to see changed though is the gene this mod adds being moved from the miscellaneous tab to the reproductive tab in the xenotype creator.

I didn't do extensive testing but I've been busy and it seemed to work so I've pushed that update.
It probably won't build on anyone else's machine as the project file is but I'll do some cleanup when I feel motivated.

Good to know that this mod is on track to an update, even if it's a mod I can probably do without. (There is a mod still in 1.4 I don't want to play without, though)

Not gonna lie I don't know C# and the toolchain on Linux is hell* so I was just avoiding doing anything about it. That said, I got it building this morning without errors, and I did the same as @Jcking in accordance with the warnings (`RimWorld.Pawn_GeneTracker.HasGene(Verse.GeneDef)' is obsolete: `Use HasActiveGene() instead').

Will test today probably, then push an update.

* I still haven't gotten `dotnet msbuild` to actually build the project - it doesn't know about mono's reference assemblies, I guess - but mono xbuild seems to work. I think I've solved this before for Cities Skylines, but didn't write it down.

Open up the .sln file with Visual Studio, replace all lines of "__instance.pawn.genes.HasGene" with "__instance.pawn.genes.HasActiveGene" in LitterBiotech.cs and rebuild the project.

I know that the mod this is a fork of remains unupdated, but I haven't checked to see if that's because the mod author hasn't gotten around to updating it or if its dependency (the forbidden mod) hasn't updated yet either.

I don't think the author can update it yet due to aforementioned reasons. Until the original version updates, which won't happen until the forbidden mod updates, this mod won't update.

We'll see if upstream updates first. I don't keep track, but I imagine the Forbidden Mod is either not yet, or only recently out for 1.5 so far. Lots of new cursed ground to cover, I'm sure, and the upstream project depends on that. Once it updates I can cut the stuff we don't want out.

@Earl of Bencaster that was my bad, doing server upgrades and I forgot to start the container again. Fixed since.

As for 1.5, I'm not gonna lie I don't actually know C#, I just know how to butcher other people's work. I'll poke at it soon(tm) but no guarantees until the upstream updates for me to butcher again. As far as other mod integration goes, unless it's like, applying a hediff, it's probably beyond me. PRs welcome, though?

Idea, though optional - make the pigskins have this gene by default. They were initially made as a xenotype meant for organ-harvesting, and thus making them easily reproducible would help ensure that to happen.

the littered births works for me, but ive tried to increase the chance of non littered birth "twins" and have never had a pawn witout the gene have more than one baby

I'm getting an error "Failed to find Verse.HediffDef named OvaryAgitator" the first time a pawn with this gene goes into labor/gives birth. I've also been getting 4 or more babies per pregnancy during my testing (without reloading). Tested with just this mod and hugslib and made sure i'm on the latest version.

When I read about a "default" chance, I kinda expected some mod settings to tweak these values like litter chance and size to our liking, but there don't seem to be any. Would you consider adding them?
