If you go into your game's addons menu and see that this mod is flagged as conflicting it's most definitely safe to ignore and to run with both mods enabled. This mod does not come packed with anything that replaces default assets (other than the pistol models themselves of course), especially ones like the ones that would be included in an add-on like that.
Left 4 Dead 1 uses a sound event called DualPistol.Ready for the empty reload which basically plays the Deploy sound again and since that specific sound event does not exist in L4D2 I made it use the Deploy sound.
pistol_slideback_1 and pistol_slideforward_1 cannot be played correctly in dual pistol mode. He will skip to playing pistol_eploy_1.
Fixed holding Left 4 Dead M1911 Colts / L4D1 Pistols Incorrectly
Mod is unfortunately not compatible with retextures, I was thinking of making it possible to add retextures but there's no L4D1 pistol texture-only mods out there, it's always the weapon packed in with the texture which would have caused conflicts between this and the other mods, so I chose not to do it.
It is possible to edit custom retextures in if you mess with the mod's files on your own though.
