Could this mod be made compatible with the new DLC? Please, I'd be so grateful! Master Necromancer, I can't live without this mod.

I'm not planning on getting the DLC either. I can place the fishing spots and the traps, but no fish. Sad. I hope you're able to find a way to make this work.

As someone without the DLC, I'm hopeful this mod will return. I was able to run it in 1.6, but shellfish traps and fishing spots never yielded any fish. I did get some cargo pods of grilled fish though at one point.

What counts as "fishable" terrain? For some reason I can't place fishing spots anywhere. (Might be bugged on my end)

I really like how the Fish from this Mod look, would be cool if this Mod could replace/improve the DLC Fishing.

@Shhhush Due to the news that the dlc will include fishing, I will have to see how that works before I update the mod so that there are no conflicts.

If I wanted to use the vanilla expanded cooking (sushi) wouldn't it conflict with this addon due to VE Fishing being a prerequisite for the sushi? Should I use both? Kinda confused there.

i still play 1.4
sometimes fishing spot doesn't work that i have to build new one again.
someone fish for something(fish or nothing) at fishing spot once.
After spot doesn't work.(spot cd?)

Just a tiny oversight, but guests that are supposed to not do any work still have the fishing work type available. Otherwise great mod.

@The Ducktor Sorry, the code for this mod is a mess of all hardcoded fish-definitions and probabilities. Vanilla Fishing Expanded have a much better way of adding extra fish to catch, I suggest you do the addon for that mod instead.

And I have used the mod to remove food poisoning from berries and insect jelly for some time, heh. Just doesn't make sense to me that foods that are stated to be fine to eat raw aren't actually safe to do that.

One of my pawns just got food poisoning from caviar (dangerous food type). Is that intentional? Isn't it...SUPPOSED to be eaten raw? :p
