Im not 100% certain but i believe this is no longer necessary in the newest versions of EK2

Hoping the author comes back and update it.

This works at least at the time of this posting.(1.10.2). Even adding it mid-save. Just give it some years and check characters with 10 or more Magica and you should see it take affect.

This mod is likely quite essential for making the dynasty perk for magic actually mean something.

Is it working with the new update?

@Xoatl That's a common problem base ek2. Make sure they have at least 11 magic and pull them up in the spell book a couple of times. seems to fix it.

@Xoatl Magicka is regenerating fine for me with this mod, plus unbound running alongside 60 other mods.
Xoatl 6 Feb, 2023 @ 6:39pm
I think theres a conflict between this mod and unbound causing characters to be unable to regenerate magicka. If this is the case please patch

Also its to some extent RNG

@notorius_marauder If your son has some higher tiered lifespan trait it could be explained as the lifespan gives penalty to learning

Finally it makes my magical descendants actually feel magical. At least in the sense that by the time I actually get to them they had'nt screwed half their life and not have a single spell.
notorius_marauder 24 Jan, 2023 @ 4:05am
easily the best magic mod for EK2, kinda sucks that my half-d*nmer son that have aetheric and an apprentice magic still not learning any magic perk
TheyCallMeVincenzo 24 Jan, 2023 @ 12:46am
Great mod, they obviously need to update the EK2 ai.
John2Lionheart 23 Jan, 2023 @ 6:52am
Does the AI even use magic? I mean it seems like it does not even use magic.

@[NUTS] Vladimir Lenin Yes it is save game compatible
Donekulda CZ  [author] 22 Jan, 2023 @ 9:33am
yes @elderiii yes what this mod does, is that it simulates ai magic xp gain by giving the ai magic perk in specified time which is based on their talents and traits, also some perks are more likely to be given based n ones traits, for exmp, necromancer has higher chance of advancing in conjuration and someone compasionate is more likely to learn healing magic

yep, lich is decision
bingus the wizard 21 Jan, 2023 @ 10:08pm
Even after using this mod, Mannimarco still refuses to become a lich. Is this because becoming a lich is a decision?

Does this mean that AI will actually progress in the Magic Lifestyle? Even if they don't cast spells themselves, having access to more Court Mage spell options alone would be wonderful.
SGTHatred607 20 Jan, 2023 @ 3:15am
Does mean that all of my so-called "excellent" court mage choices will be able to cast spells now?
bingus the wizard 19 Jan, 2023 @ 1:16pm
Is this savegame compatible?
Pickle 19 Jan, 2023 @ 7:41am
It is indeed a let down that AI never advances magic. Thanks for this, gonna try it out.
