I want to like this mod, but no flashlight/active-camo, rooms overflowing with enemies and no support from friendly AI other than them being set pieces makes this mod a slog to play through.
PS: I know that this mod still have problems especially whit the encounters maybe one day i will do a encounters rework on some of the maps, but for now no projects for this mod.
Other than those two particular issues, this is a fantastic mod and I enjoyed the "chase" we experience going after the chief. Definitely a 9/10, would be 10/10 if those issues I mentioned could be fixed :)
As for that part with the rocket flood in the pitch black, that was just rude.
I really wanted to like this mod since its a cool concept, just it had the wrong execution. One of the things i do like though is what the developer did to the AI vehicle piloting, it does feel a lot better than the vanilla, just with the scorpion sometimes its hard to tell if it's targeting you due to the fact that it looks above you to target you.
Over all, cool and unique idea, just it has many flaws with just how it feels unbalanced.
all in all this mod was decent but overrated, and there is a lot of room for improvement
The absolute worst part, and the reason I stopped playing the Truth and Reconciliation mission, was the lack of flashlight. I, literally, cannot see two feet in front of Chief's visor and I think the mod scripts the gamma to be at a certain setting, meaning you cannot adjust it.
I had to navigate entire portions of the game while facing backwards so that I could keep track of something bright behind me and blindly navigate in dark areas.
The flashlight issue alone and forced darkness hold this entire mod back, for me, and I would not recommend playing this for that reason alone.
No thanks, I don't recommend this to be played. If you hate the default level of The Library, prepare for hell as every custom mission in here is just that.
