For usage in HL-VR mod, where do I activate the HD textures? In the main menu I see the workshop mod but it doesn't seem to work.

Amazing package, a must for VR, this + high res ALyx assets really stops it from being a blurry mess.

ShineyFX your gpu is only 8gb vram, that + highrenderig resolution might be peaking it
hl2 is old as hell and comes form preloading time so its not good at memory utilization

For those who have technical problems, it's possible that you have a weak video card or not enough video memory. And preferably the game should be on an SSD. Anyway, I can't know all the reasons for the technical problems of the game, sorry.

After finally getting around to playing HL2 VR, and promptly went searching for better textures, I had to come here to help fellow searches. This pack is an absolute must-have for HL2 in VR. It makes an immense difference in VR. Just grab this, just do it. Massive upgrade in VR!

Great mod! I think you are underselling how good this improvement is. Textures look so clean now. On the monitor I might not notice but in VR the difference is huge. Thank You!!

Stable Diffusion I haven't tried, and I don't remember if it existed in 2019. I tried other upscalers, but Topaz Gigapixel was more convenient and produced better results at the time.
