Did it with the Greco/Romans and the Egyptians and they show up

This mod still works, I just checked. Make sure you have it enabled in the launcher because it automatically had it disabled, so I thought it didn't work.

Do you think you can revive the old Imperial German or Imperial Russian portraits, they've been unusable since Fornax and I'd really like to see their return.
