Is this still needed? I saw the Stellaris Evolved page mentions internal compatibility with Gigastructures.

Currently the patch is indeed non functional. Update to them will be done after bringing evolved to a satisfactory internal state after 3.12. So i expect a week or two before I will touch this.

Till then recommended to no use the patch. There is internal compat in evolved but that is minimal.

There are a few people of the community that are working on helping me with this patch in the nearby future, so if they manage to get this updated we will see it earlier than my expected timeline.

elysium overseen worlds don't give the dystopian bonus (planetary stability based on the elysium habitat's stability) when using evolved's megacorp version of the civic

it's a small thing so it's easy to overlook

after the update of Stellaris Evolved, which added a new menu of areas with Gigastructures, after the demolition of mineral extraction areas, they cannot be restored, as well as some bonuses disappear in planetary features

Pushed a small fix that fixes the weights for the frameworld maintenance drones and the assembly modifiers on them.

Updated the mod to 3.9 finally and modernized the code.

Sorry for the delay as life has been quite busy, that and updating evolved and preparing stuff to make my life easier was the priority.

Changes overall:
- modernized to 3.9 and evolved new features
- updated frameworld to new changes there and fixed bugs related to it
- fixed the alderson alloy district to actually give alloys
- updated ring origins (penrose, interstellar, square and great ring) to add blockers similar to shattered ring, and nerfed a bit the secondary segments that can be colonized)

Update for 3.9 is on the way, should hopefully get it out by Sunday or somewhere next week.
Most work on patches has been slowed down due to focusing on Evolved development proper which slowed down the updating of this patches.

Considering the changes i made in evolved, hopefully future updates would be faster and easier to do.

As for frameworld and other issues mentioned below, the patch will be adjusted to fix/adress them.

i dont have whatever void frame is from, but i have stellaris evolved. frameworlds have the administrative overextension feature meant for taking planets, an extra forge district, and the habitat decisions added by evolved. also pops arent taking frame drone jobs

Hey by the way, since gigas updated the frame world to work with more than just machine empires, the void frame integration in this is causing the frame worlds to gain a feature that halts all pop growth, planetary construction, and most of the production

Hello. Galactic force projection doesn't allow for the superscale orbital military bastions technology (from gigas) to be researched. When I disable evolved and its patches the ascension perk works as intended.

Foundry districts on Ecumenopolis Alderson Slice provide Artisan jobs instead of Metallurgists: district_giga_alderson_alloys calls jobs/inline_evolved_artisan instead of jobs/inline_evolved_foundry.

Updated supertensile deposit buildings to mimic changes to evolved deposit buildings. Added some support from transitioning from normal Frameworld to Voidframe

Fixed the birch world archaeologist job in the next patch that will upload soon (they changed this in the meantime and did not notice). About the planetary computer.... i can't seem to replicate, it spawns with 3 districts types, of which 3 are housing

I've noticed that for whatever reason planetary computer starts with no districts. Also the birch world doesn't get it's archeologist jobs when using this mod.

I have a question: in Stellaris Evolved, ringworlds get buffed to be the pinnacle of engineering, with each district buffing the same districts. Is the same true for the more advanced megastructures that we get in Gigastructural? (Alderson Disk, Birch World). Also, I know that it should work but I want to ask to make sure, should it work with Ludicrous Ringworlds?

Individually gigastructures and Stellaris: evolved both work fine. Its only when the two are paired together that I get a big fps drop when the game isn't paused. Its still playable, but its annoying.

I don;t think we ever modify the UI in galaxy map either in this patch or the base Evolved mod. @Pietrooperv, can you try using only Evolved, Only Gigastructures, or both in combination and see how they behave?

Whenever I use Stellaris: Evolved in combination with Gigastructures I get huge fps drops panning the camera around the galaxy. Everything is fine when the game is paused though. This seems like the best place to report this bug.

After some more testing it appears that depending on the load order, you either don't get to see the districts properly or you can't see the expanded ethics wheel

unless I'm mistaken it doesn't seem to play nice with the hud mod that gigastructures recommends you use: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1623423360 I was having graphical errors and without it, the special districts on the frame world disappear as you unlock them.
