game stopped loading with this mod installed on 1.5, was working fine up until today just chilling in the mod list.

oh, scratch all that, Ferris has adapted most of Owlchemist's mods for 1.5! lifesaver

it works if you just move "assemblies" (in "1.4") to the main folder and delete the empty 1.4 folder. it'll still give you a harmless error if you don't edit About.xml to include the 1.5 tag, but it works fine in 1.5.
there may be some things that aren't optimized or that were broken by 1.5 that we're not aware of, so I'm still waiting for an update, but it's good that we can still use this since it's saved so many of my games.

Hey I added you so I can describe my specific issue.
I tried using this to fix the removal of Army of Fetid Corpses, because when I remove the mod from my game, it deletes my UI, locks me in maximum zoom, removes one of my colonist's model, and makes me unable to even open the escape menu.

Even in 1.5, the faction removal option helped me get rid of antimatter annihilation (which was stuttering my tps like crazy for some reason) without borking my save.

Is there a way for this mod to somehow fix a mod related to deep mining resources that I removed, since I can't see any minerals scanned once I removed the mod in particular.

I'm experiencing a bug. The "Generate Missing Mineables" option does not work. The prompt to generate a missing mineable pops up and I can click "generate", but nothing will happen. It will close the prompt and the mineable will not generate anywhere on the map. I think it has something to do with "Simple Chains: Steel" and/or "Coal Expanded". I'm having a hard time narrowing down the exact cause, and there could be other confounding factors.

In the map I'm having trouble with, I removed "Simple Chains: Steel" and all its coal, and then I added "Coal Expanded" to try and generate its coal on the map. I can't generate any kind of mineable, not even vanilla ones.

I was able to safely and successfully remove Combat Extended from my nomad save after it was causing giant TPS drops and RAM leaking after just a few map tiles - a quick "fix corrupted areas and sections" did the trick for the UI.

You saved me a solid two days of fun progress, and have allowed me to continue enjoy my saves. <3

@Netzach Sloth yeah, because it goes against the spirit of modding, invites unsavory types and business practices... and no one wants to deal with the legal minefield involved with modders making a profit off another company's IP.

modders need to be paid by steam after a certain amount of subscribers, you are literally adding content to the game for free.

Hey Owl. I'm trying to move Vanilla Psycasts Expanded from my save. It took over my game because it's to damned overpowered. But it doesn't seem to be working. Am I correct in saying that it only can work if I get rid of vanilla expanded framework as well? Which means I have to get rid of anything that relies on that also?

Not sure if the problem is on Mac with low RAM but recent game still doesn't load. Stuck on initializing game and the older ones that did are generating new saves with the same issue.

Does anyone know of a solution to that problem?

Holy shit this actually saved my game. Accidentally loaded the wrong game with the wrong mod-set and it got automatically uploaded to Steam. This let me recover the game!

I appreciate the mod! Quick question though; I recently removed a mod (Rim of Horror: Vampires) from my save, and once I did, the Needs panel on every pawn no longer works properly. The Mood bar, as well as the list of conditions affecting Mood, are not present, and the game throws up errors regarding populating the Needs panel. Is there some way to 're-initialize' Needs panels on a saved game?

when i use the fix faction removal thing my pawns can't move on the world map anymore? whether by caravan, drop pod or srts aircraft, they don't move?

How do I use this mod? I activate the mod, like my other mods, go in mod options, flip a few of the mod options to "on".....
now what? It says I am not supposed to leave it running, so how do I make it fix things/how do I make it run so I can run it and then turn it off?
