That's strange, I'm afraid I don't know what do to then, I've taken a break from the modding scene but if/when I return I'll look into it

I converted the sound as a .ogg file. The thing is even when checking the file name, in the mod I checked what file it chose to play and still it didn't work. It also happened that the old sound I left in the folder with a different name to see if it would dod something played, even though it should've played daybreak and not what the random name I gave it.

As long as it shares the same exact name (Caps matter) it should work, is your new sound a different file type?

Indeed you can, just go to it's install directory > mod > sounds > in there is daybreak.ogg which is the morning sound and nightfall.ogg which is the night sound, simply replace those with your sounds and you'll be good to go

Would it be possible to change the sound to our own choosing?
