@Beck

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah next time I make a map I'll probably leave the power lines out. It felt like a nice touch but network mods are risky for people who choose not to use them. Basically breaks the map.

And good point about the traffic! I was actually noticing some quarks with it too. Glad you like it regardless!

This is a great map and I'm currently really enjoying it, but two pieces of feedback:
- the use of the rural power line asset along the highways, while realistic, makes network work very annoying on this map (because it blocks network placement instead of automatically deleting when a new network is placed as the vanilla one does), and I've basically wound up having to manually delete them throughout the map
- having a key outside connection run through a mountain for a big chunk of the map makes it much more annoying to troubleshoot any issues with traffic coming through that connection

@keallu

I thought about leaving relight, except I was having a lot of trouble with Render It! and the color grading.

Thanks for the tip though!

@RaftermanNZ: In Render It! you can easily export the profile and save it to disk and then include the profile-file (*.renderit) in your published map upload folder. Subscribers can then very easily import the profile directly in Render It!

You could also consider switching completely from Relight to Render It! and use Color Grading instead of the simple tone mapper in Relight.

@ilcicci1983

I'm thinking about creating Dunedin, NZ next as the geography there makes for some really interesting build opportunities. Though to get the level of detail I had here, it's going to take time. For now I really want to build on Kiakoura, but I still don't know how I want to start. LOL

Great map! As ihme said, if this is your first map can't wait to see the next one!

Hey folks! I added procedural objects to the required mods list. If you encounter issues with the rocks on the peninsula not appearing as in the screenshots, please let me know so I can troubleshoot. :steamhappy:

Amazing job! I'll definitely be using this in future. Thanks!

@SgtShaitface Forestry areas have now been fixed! Seems I originally created the map with forestry locked in tree anarchy and overlooked that detail. Meaning no forestry area resources were generated. I was able to correct this and now the map has been updated so that the forest resource is now usable. The issue has been resolved. Thank you for letting me know!

I removed your old comment notifying me of the issue so as not to confuse anyone. I hope you don't mind.

If the issue persists, please let me know and I'll work on it asap. :)

@IhmeHihhuli ™
Thanks! I actually meant to keep the map hidden until I could have some people test it first, but somehow it changed to public early.

Seems there's no complaints so far, so I'm assuming it working, so that makes me super happy!

@Haywire
Thanks! And good luck on your build! Can't wait to see what you do. New Zealand has some of the best heightmaps to draw from on the planet.

Wow! Incredible work, for a first map especially. Excited to see what you'll bring to the community in the future if this is the standard you set with the first piece of work you publish! :hardhat::steamthumbsup:

I saw your post on reddit, man this is a cool map! I'm currently working on my own New Zealand inspired map and this gives me some inspiration on what to build.
