works fine for me
post a link to the crashlog screenshot - maybe it will help figuring out the issue
something doesnt work as intended?
the chance of body explosions isn't very high right now - i am doing some adjustments and will update in a day or two.
other than that - it works
Glad to hear its working!
You can find more details on the main mod's page, but in short:
The chance of body dismemberment depends on size/power of the explosion (small AP grenades = low chance of gore, dynamite = high chance) and a flat 30% chance
I have done lots and lots of testing, and the current body-explosion frequency is what seemed to be optimal in the long run.
Give a proper try - you might feel its balanced enough after a few hours.
Otherwise, you can edit the flat 30% to 100%, increasing the gore frequency to 300%.
Here is how to do it:
Find the mod folder, for me its located here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steam apps\workshop\content\400750\2923019121
Find and edit this file (in Notepad or similar):
2923019121\resource\set\interaction_entity\human.inc
Find these lines:
{on "explosion"
{if rand 0.3 {call "bm_explosion"}
Change 0.3 to 1
Save and enjoy! :)
One more thing - if you look at the mod order in the game, it might be showing incorrect order. Like in the screenshot in my previous post. Therefore the only way to insure the correct load order is to edit the profile file, as described in the pinned thread.
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3061086316
Working fine as long as you make sure the load order is correct. Tested myself 10 minutes ago. Use the guide in the pinned thread "How do i get the BM Mod below the valour mod". The link is above the comments. Pretty sure it will solve your issue.
This bug is not my fault - its a base game bug, as far as i understand.
allrighty! here is what you have to do:
find the BM Mod for Valour folder on your PC, for me, its in the following path:
.. steamapps\workshop\content\400750\2923019121\
To ensure you are working in the correct mod folder, open the "preview.jpg" file located in the root folder of the mod. It should be the same picture as the one used on the mod's Steam page ( right there on this very page ).
now, move to the following folder in the mod:
steamapps\workshop\content\400750\2923019121\resource\entity\fx\hit
In the "hit" folder, you will see a bunch of files called " .. blood .."-something. Find all the files called "bm_bloodpool_X.def" ( where X are letters from "a" to "j", 9 files ) and "bm_bloodstain_X.def ( where X are letters from "a" to "e", 5 files ). Open each file in the Notepad ( or similar ) and finde the following line "{lifetime 450}". Change the 450 to any number you want. Its a timer in seconds. Use 9999 to make it virtually permanent.
Hmm, do you want the blood to stay longer/permanently?..
Let me know if you do and i will post instructions. Although be prepared to do some manual file editing in a notepad - not hard but tedious
I have uploaded an update, although there was nothing to update. Have checked all the related files, and there were no changes in the latest Valour verion.
Maybe it will be uploaded again?.. there was something sbout licensing
