Display footsteps on the ground? Without this option, the effect may appear slightly above the ground

weird thing about it,50% of the time it spawns not on the floor but slightly above it, like at the level of the ankle of the player say.

maybe some of your addon do shiet (returns something in GM:PlayerFootstep) - try to run your game without addons
