(I didn't even know this had a github until i decided to search for it)
In addition, can it be made so grabbing lizards isn't the exact same as it is with any other item/creature? Like... It's pretty understandable, code-wise, if grabbing lizards can't be Set aside from grabbing other creatures (class inheritance?), but maybe adding a double check that doesn't let you actually perform the grab unless you are pressing another key at the same time would be nice.
Back in the day, there used to be Reasonably Sheltered, so you could at least lock your lizors home if they were getting in the way of your hunts, but now you have to bring them with you all the time, and it sucks to fight alongside them and ending up grabbing and riding one when you want to pick up a spear.
Currently having this on makes Lizors with tongues (white specifically cuz long) unable to use them while hunting the player and anything else. It plays the animation, but the tongue does not fire nor appear while doing so. but you are able to make them use it while you ride them tho..
1: find a hazer
2: find a cyan lizard
3: enjoy
Of course, knowing the exact cause of this problem is of essence anyways and I'll try to isolate it later, but I wanted to let you know how specific it is and also how hard it is to test mod by mod.
If there's a way to run while having everything logged as it happens, I would like to know how; That way I can figure it out myself what happens when the Lizard is at tongue range but refuses to use it.
Yeah, I'm running this mod alongside many others, but I have already tried turning off any mod that messes around with AI and throwing (the type of action the tongue shooting falls into) and even Guardian (mostly outdated, but still functional to an extent), all to no avail.
Actual list of the mods I still use and already tested:
-Throw Fix
-Tube Worm Fix
-Watch Your Aim
-Guardian

(Do lizards count as players while being ridden or does the mod simply hijack their AI?)
The only thing feels kinda off for me at least is trying to aim the Caramel and Red Lizard spit sometimes, but that one thing in kinda minor. one thing i would like to see is that the Caramel Lizard's hop height being increased to reflect how they actually jump, it would be a nice thing to have methinks. And one final thing! i tend to get knocked off and than getting stunned while on a Cyan Lizard when I bump into something when I do a rocket jump. I don't see a problem with it to be fair, i see it more as a skill issue and a silly feature too LOL.
But anyway, the mod has been amazing yes. Keep up the great work man!!!!!!
Has the mod felt alright otherwise? (the riding in general, using the abilities etc.)
