i think every challenge crashes, even the ones coming from downpour

They do crash, though probably due to incompatibility with watcher. I haven't tried opening since watcher without it activated.

Just thought I'd bring this supposed bug up.
Since challenge 79 is not loading for me at all, it essentially softlocks the game and I'm forced to close the game due to it.

they do conflict, i've tried it. for some reason, challenges absolutely require a challenge before them (can't have a challenge 72 without a challenge 71) but challenge mods also override eachothers challenges, and they cant be set to absurd numbers to prevent this due to challenges requiring challenges before them.

Mods that add challenges will most likely not conflict with the cut challenges and there is also a readme file in the challenges that explains how to make and play challenges by creating them in sandbox and exporting them

why would you want in permanently? it would conflict with any mods that add challenges if you make it permanent

I have 89 challenges using the game files method

You can permanently install this mod by going into the game files and dragging all the cut challenges files in a folder named cut challenges and move them into the challenges folder. That's what I did

All the formatting is correct in the file for the challenge, so I'm not sure why it does that. It did it in my testing too, but there's unfortunately not much I can do about it.

Could you change challenge 78's description? right now it says CREATURE TYPE-JETFISH. would be nice if it just said jetfish. also that last challenge lmao.
