Thanks, this is important mod. Right click on the additional upgrade on left list column (>13 improvement modules above) to get fitted as the screen on 2nd column can't scroll down.

I would need all their mech files, as there is an entry in each mech file I have to change. And if they update, then I would have to get the new copy and update. Not impossible per se, but time consuming for sure.

try as i might i cant get this mod to work, it seems to clash with "Yet Another Mech Lab. is there any way to get Super Upgrades to work WITH YAML?

I am working on doubling the slot count, but it takes time to go through every mech file. Hopefully soon(tm)

I agree with @Yakinton as Ive run into this same problem. I have mechs that use all three weapon types and with 40 I dont get to put them all on.

No I won't add upgrades that don't work with mech X. But after adding 40 upgrades there are still some upgrades that I don't have room for. Some heat, rate of fire, turn speed and sensor upgrades.

You REALLY expect me to believe that you're going to waste cash on useless upgrades for mechs that don't need them such as an all Energy-based mech with Ballastic and Missile upgrades?
You know what @Dark make that a mod so upgrades can't be applied to every single mech if they aren't compatible with said upgrade like mechs without jump jets shouldn't be compatible for the jump jet upgrades.

Question for the author:

I am new to modding, and trying to learn. I am working on some new mech variants, and was not sure where to change how many upgrade slots they get. Can you tell me where in the file structure to find this?

I have yet to determine how to make it YAML compatible. I have been busy with life and some other projects, but I plan to look into it soon.

It increased the upgrade slots as the mod should for the vanilla mechs like the Spider, yet having the mod itself active with Unification just seemed to have caused an issue because Unification for all reasons I can probably conclude is that they turn the vanilla mechs INTO modded mechs as they have the S7 attached to the variant name despite them still BEING vanilla MW5 mechs which the mod then is capable of effecting but perhaps that's why the loadouts ended up getting changed when the mod was active.

It's weird for this to be having that affect not going to lie because the mechs those errors happen for were still the vanilla mechs which your mod DOES affect as advertised but somehow the loadouts just got tangled up here's even an example of a loadout from Unification for the Spider.

After the mod was turned on both Machine Guns, AMS and one small laser were all taken away, like the code itself is trying to look for the vanilla mech in its pure form.

Interesting, I only change one line in each mech file, so I am not sure why it would cause it. I will need to investigate it some.

The only mod in question that affects mechs is Unification itself changing the mechs loadouts, but when I turned this mod on I got nothing but errors in regards to mech loadouts and a lot of the weapon hardpoints except for one were just straight up removed and the armor values were also altered to where some mechs had values like this 50/20 or 20/5, I even turned the mod off and everything was back to normal when I restarted the game.

I am not sure what you are asking, this mod does nothing with weaponry. The only change this mod does, albeit to every mech file, is up the number of available mod slots to 40 for mechs.
Are you running any other mods that make changes to the mech files?

I have one VERY simple question about this mod, WHY is it affecting mech loadouts by literally reducing and removing hardpoints the second it's enabled? This mod's only meant to be making it so the upgrades be more expanded and freely available, yet I just tested this mod with Unification and this mod was heavily reducing my mechs weaponry down to literal single digits which is terrible.

If you right click and upgrade, it applies it automatically. I will have to see if there is a way for me to add a scroll line to it.

This is a nice mod but I can only ever use 13 upgrades because the other 27 slots are off the bottom of the screen and there is no way to scroll down...
